I decided to try this place out for my birthday dinner tonight. There were 7 of us eating. We get there around 7. We walked in and got seated right away. There was hardly any other customers there. By the time we left, we were the only ones there besides staff. Our waitress was Brianna. She was very shy and quiet. She gave us plenty of time to order since no one knew what they really wanted. Our drinks were served with very little ice and the pop tasted flat. We had to ask to get refills...I feel this is something that should be done automatically without having to ask. I was going to order a mixed drink, but she never came back around to order it. We asked for more bread and never got it. The meal came out before we were finished with our salads, which is fine, but the table was extremely full(we had to put some of our personal items on another table because there wasn't enough room) and she NEVER picked up any dirty plates we were not using any more. My daughter ordered a pizza which took up even more room. I had to pick up my salad plate and finish it while holding it so I had enough room for my dinner plate. Brianna just kept handing us our plates and expected us to make our own room for everything. After she served us our dinner she came back one time to ask if we needed anything. And of course we were all out of drinks. We had to ask to get refills. And if we didn't ask, we didn't get one. My mother in law had to ask when she brought the other drinks. Running out of my drink is just a huge pet peeve when I'm eating out. The only other time she came back is to ask about the check and get dessert orders. We didn't have enough room on the table for dessert plates so we all declined. The food was just okay. I ordered the chicken bacon florentine. The chicken was a bit dry but tolerable. My husband was pleased with his chicken parmesan but said his spaghetti noodles weren't very good. My mother in law said her chicken was over cooked also. Everyone else said their food was okay. If the restaurant was crowded or even had a few more people in it, I would completely understand the bad service or I guess I should say slow service. But we were literally the only customers there. And there were several other staff members around that maybe could have helped. Next time I think we will just eat next door at Chilino's. Sorry Brianna...I don't think...

Have tried this place a handful of times but after tonight will not be back. I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana and for the price I was very disappointed. It was served with spaghetti. The chicken was microwaved and thrown cheese on top which caused it to be chewy and over cooked. There was no crispy texture or crunch to the texture. There were corners cut in quality on the pasta as well as you could taste (AND SEE) that the chef took the pasta out of the water, placed it on the plate and spooned some bland sauce on top. There was excess water from the spaghetti on the plate and the sauce was watered down and had no flavor other than what could be described as tomato paste from a can. The service was uncomfortable and has been every time we come here. The servers are awkward and linger around the tables. The waiters and waitresses are lacking basic observation skills needed to work in the service industry. When asked for our drink order we asked for sparkling water to which the waitress responded they didn’t have any. I could have believed this if it were for the bottle LITERALLY sitting behind us on the counter and at the bar. Perhaps your wait staff should be more familiar with the menu as sparkling water was an option to be ordered. I was finishing my meal and had one bite left when the waitress asked if she could take my plate. I had just stuck my fork into the food and ate that bite with no place to put my fork because she took the plate. The waitress also asked to take my salad when my dinner plate came even though I was visibly eating it. She asked if I needed a to go box or desert when half of my meal was still remaining on the plate. For the establishment trying to be be on the “nicer” end the wait staff need to let the patrons enjoy the food and stop asking “is there anything else I can get for you?” when clearly my drink is empty and that’s something most wait staff automatically refill. I can even tolerate poor service if the food is excellent but in this case both need a...

Venezia Italian Restaurant promises a slice of Italy with every plate, and it largely delivers on that promise. The cozy ambiance, complete with warm lighting and rustic décor, sets the tone for an authentic Italian dining experience.

For my visit, I started with the calamari, a quintessential Italian appetizer. Venezia’s take on this classic dish was a pleasant surprise. The calamari was perfectly tender, encased in a golden, crispy breading that managed to avoid the all-too-common pitfall of excessive greasiness. The accompanying marinara sauce was bright and tangy, with just the right amount of garlic to enhance the flavors without overpowering them. A lemon wedge on the side added a zesty touch that elevated the dish. While delicious, a pinch more seasoning in the breading would have made it perfect.

For the main course, I opted for the Chicken Bacon Florentine, which turned out to be a highlight. The chicken was juicy and well-cooked, layered with smoky bacon and wilted spinach. The creamy Florentine sauce tied it all together with its velvety texture and rich, buttery flavor. The balance of ingredients was thoughtful, ensuring no single component overwhelmed the dish. Served alongside a generous portion of al dente fettuccine, this entrée felt indulgent yet comforting.

The service was attentive and friendly, with servers ensuring that water glasses were always full and that every request was met with a smile. If there was one minor drawback, it was the pacing; the gap between the appetizer and the main course felt a bit lengthy.

Overall Verdict: Venezia Italian Restaurant delivers a delightful Italian dining experience. While there’s always room for small refinements, the high-quality ingredients and careful preparation make it a must-visit for lovers of classic Italian cuisine. I’ll be back to explore more of their enticing menu—and perhaps leave room for...

My wife and I just finished dining at Venezia Italian Ristorante in Del City, for the very first time and WOW, what a great time we had. On our way out we had been debating going to Zios in OKC or trying something local. We have been going to another Italian restaurant in the Moore/Norman area that we really enjoy and has great food and decided to get out of our comfort zone and try this restaurant that we have driven by so many other times. We ended up having a great time and, most importantly, the food was EXCELLENT. My wife had the Chicken, Bacon Florentine and I had the Chicken Cacciatore. The food was served piping hot and was delicious and paired very well with the Bolla Pinot Noir wine we had, which is from Italy. The salad was fresh and crisp and the bread was served fresh out of the oven and melt in your mouth delicious. To top it off we had the Tiramisu for desert and it was perfect and also delicious. The bar in the restaurant is awesome to see and the staff was very professional and courteous. Between our meals, a bottle of wine and dessert, the bill was less than $70.00 (outrageous tax included, lol). We highly recommend this restaurant and will surely return. Give this place a try and you will not be disappointed.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Italian Hand Signals Out of 5! 🇮🇹🤌 If Venezia Italian Ristorante were any more Italian, it would personally slap me on the back and call me paisano. I came in expecting a good meal—I left questioning if I should start learning Italian out of respect. The Alfredo pasta? A creamy, cheesy dream that had my fork twirling like it was auditioning for Dancing with the Stars. The chicken Parmigiana? So perfectly crispy and smothered in sauce that I almost whispered ti amo before taking a bite. And the lasagna? My God. This wasn’t just food—it was a love letter to my stomach, stacked layer by delicious layer. If lasagna were a person, I’d be proposing right now. By the time I finished, I was so full I half-expected an Italian grandma to appear and force-feed me more. Venezia gets a perfect 🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌—a true masterpiece of carbs, cheese, and happiness. Also I want to shout out to the waiter whom is an older gentleman that made me feel like an Italian boss for 30 minutes.

From the location and appearance from the outside my expectations weren't really high to be completely honest. Once I got inside they changed. The layout and decor of the place is fantastic. They have several distinct sections were they can entertain large groups if need be. There is a full bar as well. The menu is large enough to spread around quite a few visits while having something different every time. The waitstaff is very friendly and attentive. The food from what I've had is DELICIOUS. I honestly can't wait to come back again. If you want something great to eat in a very nice atmosphere come here. You won't be disappointed. I've been back several times now and I'm so impressed and going back again tonight!
