L R's Pizza — Restaurant in Delano

I have gone to this pizza place on and off my entire life and sadly every time I go it progressively gets worse. The staff is rude every time and gets worse on each visit. The food is the same, I order the same thing every time and every time it progressively tastes worse than the previous visit. I think this last visit was the worst of all. The Jalapeños were old and dry. The toppings on the pizza had an off taste as if they were sitting out or were not properly stored. The ranch dressing I ordered was the same. Each time I go I think maybe the cook or staff were having an off day which is why the food wasn't good and the service was terrible, but during this recent visit the location was not busy at all so there shouldn't have been a reason to have run into the issues I did. All in all this place is not what it was and is no longer worth what we pay for the service and food...

My family and I come here probably once a month. The food is great! I like both the bar and dining areas. Unfortunately, the reason for just the three stars is because of the horrible service we receive there often. The women taking orders just simply cannot handle stress during high volume times. They have short fuses with even the simplest questions. They sometimes forget to give our order to the pizza makers so we're just left waiting. Their bar tender in the other area isn't the greatest either. I ordered an Adios (MF) drink, and the guy charged me over $30 for the drink because he never heard of it and he poured all shots in the glass. Obviously, I felt that I should pay anyway to avoid trouble. Don't get me wrong, the food is great, but the owner simply needs to retrain his employees or get people that have experience in...

My husband was waiting in there for 1 hour to get his pizza. He said that the cook was very lazy and took 30 minutes to get to making his pizza even though they weren’t busy. The Hawaiian pizza tastes like a hot pocket with pineapple…I’ve never seen sliced deli ham on pizza, even then I’d say a ham and cheese hot pocket tastes better than whatever this is. Hawaiian should have cubed ham, not deli ham you buy from the grocery store, it didn’t taste like Hawaiian at all. My husband got a pizza with pepperoni and jalapeño but the pizza had very little pepperoni and much more cheese.
