Parking! Is NOT as bad as it appears. You can park either in their lot, or directly across the street from their lot, in front of the police station. If you're traveling on 299 Northbound, towards the mall ect., and you're trying to get in and out quickly, pass the opening to the lot, make the next left, park, and walk the 1/2 block back around to coffee shop, OR, make a u-turn and grab a diagonal spot, or one of the many spots in their lot. And back in, if possible.
The Menu: They get coffee right. Their menu is comprised of coffee and a limited number of food items. And WOW, this is a GREAT thing! This focus on coffee allows them to serve up the BEST espresso in the city. And with this espresso being the foundation of some of their other coffee drinks, each and every one of their drinks is made to order, and absolutely phenomenal.
The Service: May they never change their recipe for attention to detail, and the fine art of providing a great customer experience. The entire staff are attentive and present with you in the ordering process, and as you wait. You place your order, a name is written, the easy text option to join their rewards program is offered, then payment; and only moments later, the magic begins behind the counter. And in what usually feels like an average of 3 or so minutes, your coffee is done, and perfect. Now granted I'm only ordering myself a double espresso, however, it's the same experience as when I order my wife's lattè. Just great coffee over and over again, even on different days and times of the week!
The Atmosphere: The coffee shop is warm and welcoming. And while the coffee is served fast, you're never feeling rushed or hurried. The indoor seating is comfortable, without feeling old or stuffy. Getting in/out and around the shop, parking lot and entry, is easy and ADA compliant.

Read moreFirst off let me say Thank you to the owner Kevin for taking on this coffee shop cafe dream. Small business are the hardest to run and you can never please everyone. The ones here that I have read the comments that didn’t give a 5 out of 5 score obviously are not small business owners. Or they would have given 5out of 5 as people rely on the reviews. If there is a stand up small business around I promise Kevin is your guy and is running it. The one comment that is 1 out of 5 is someone upset that their family member no longer works there. The stuff they are claiming has no meaning or bearing as how he handled this stuff is pretty standard. The coffee is above the rest. I can’t stand Dunkin or Star Bucks. Local coffee shops are the only way and only place I will support. I hope whoever this person is has the decency to realize how detrimental one public post can really hurt a business owner that has used his life savings to open to only be a part of our community.
You guys want small business but then lash out when you think you know something or something happens.
Hope you do better at your job !!!
Kevin. Keep up the good work sir. MOT loves Corner Grounds Cafe and it will be here long after the post doesn’t matter sir.

Read moreEven though I own a milk frother at home and can whip up a Starbucks-level hot chocolate anytime I want, nothing compares to the sheer richness of the hot chocolate at Corner Ground Café. I’m talking next-level decadence — the kind that makes you pause after the first sip just to savor how deep and velvety the flavor is. Honestly? It’s worth every extra penny I spend here because it goes beyond what I can make myself.
Bonus points: They treat vegan customers fairly — no upcharges for plant-based milks. That’s right: no sneaky fees like you’ll find at Starbucks or Dunkin. Take that, corporate chains!
And a special shoutout to Elena, the cashier who made my visit extra memorable. She was friendly, fast, and radiated the kind of authentic warmth that makes you want to come back, not just for the drinks, but for the people.
If you’re debating whether to visit — just go. Your taste buds (and your ethics)...
