Went to Dockside on a fall Saturday in September for the first time since the takeover from hammerheads. Had high hopes as we love BFG on Rt 1. Went to see the noon PSU football game. Our group of seven adults had the inside tables and no one else was seated at the bar inside. They have three large TV’s with two tv’s played full screen, one TV played 4 games at once.
We were a group of 7 adults with drinks all around – our total bill had to be close to $300. Drinks were great, and our server was fast and was super friendly. This issue was NOT the server's fault.
The problem was the local management claimed the TVs were preset by corporate and could not be changed and only the one TV at the outside bar could be changed by the local staff. We were SO disappointed that we could not see the football game on a big screen, just a ¼ screen. Really, just ¼ of the screen was the game that seven customers out of seven people inside the establishment wanted to watch. Such as disappointment, and we left as soon as our food was consumed, and therefore our bar tab also closed.
I wonder if the staff were more interested in the games on the screens than we were. Such a disappointment. PSU fans – be warned – they are not friendly to the alumni.
The crab sandwich was ok - not no woody’s - but OK. The steamed shrimp were some of the worst our group has ever had.
It’s BS they could not change the channel. Moral of the story is they are not PSU friends. Will not be back unless "Corporate" gives a crap about...

From the moment we sat down, Kyler had the energy of a caffeinated golden retriever and the timing of a seasoned comedian. He anticipated our needs before we even had them. Water glasses? Magically refilled. Extra ranch? Already on the table before we said a word. I sneezed once and I swear he teleported over with a tissue and a warm smile.
At one point, I asked for a fork and he brought me a fork, a backup fork, and emotional support. Truly a hero.
10/10 would dine again just to see what Kyler does next. I hope he never leaves, becomes famous, and forgets us regular folk. But if he does, we’ll say we knew him when. KYLER...
Read moreI visited Dockside on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, and had the Tune Poke. By Thursday morning, September 14, 2023, I was suffering from food poisoning. As of today, I am still suffering from the lingering effects and am still on the BRAT diet. I have been to the Urgent Care and my primary physician both times confirming the food poisoning. I called the restaurant, not to ask for anything, but just to share the information in hopes that they would review proper care of fresh fish and hand washing with their staff. I was brushed off by the person who answered the phone...stating I can't prove it...not even I am sorry for your experience. I love going to this establishment as well as their other restaurants. We live in Fenwick Island but sadly will have to remove this establishment from our list and will share my story...
