I have eaten here off and on for 14 or so years without a problem or complaint. Last night that all changed. To skip to the point we had three people receive 3 meals that were not edible they were so salty ur tongue would shrivel up. I mistakenly called after the 3rd person said they couldn’t eat it either. I was nice , the owner said bring food back in and I will give u refund. Sounds nice, okay! Well no apparently she wanted to scream at me accuse me of eating the food and trying to take her money. Screamed at me for a missing chicken wing. This turned into an awful mess. There WAS NO BAD INTENT IN MY PART. Even the woman’s son was trying to calm her down and explain things to her in Chinese because her English is so broken. I thought I was supporting a local business. Never again and yes unfortunately I LOST MY COMPOSURE which didn’t help but I did get my money. So sure eat there if u dare but what EVER U DO NEVER EVER EVER COMPLAIN!! Bad reviews from me for salty food and...
Read moreAfter ordering and driving a half an hour home, we were so looking forward to our meal. We opened 1 item (Gen Tso Chicken) and found it to be be so salty it was inedible. I called the restraunt in which what sounded like a young man answered. I was very polite and explained how it was way too salty and that we could not eat. Inadvised that nothing else was tasted. I would like to return for a refund. I was then placed on a very long hold. The young gentleman returned and stated " It tasted fine to me sorry we don't donrefunds unless its our fault." Inexplained it is your fault as its too salty. Whe he laughed at that commet I asked if he were the owner in which he replied he was the owners son. I asked to please speak with the owner and his reply, "stop bothering us." and then hing up. Not only is the food poor quality butbthe service is deplorable!...
Read moreOk I’ll start with a statement: most every asian restaurant around here has been a disappointing experience as they seem to americanized. So it was good to find the Hot and Sour Soup, Pork Egg Roll, Fried Wonton. True, such are far from unique regional dishes however I’m nervous to get anything too unusual. So it is nice when basic items are turned out with finesse. The Hot and Sour indeed had a lot of good ingredients, nice mushrooms and deep flavor. The Egg Rolls, something so simple to screw up and that is what I find at so many places was filled with crispy vegetables and good meat and was dry not greasy. Maybe three stars is not much; I’m going to have to try some more advanced regional items to see what chops they have and will review again. I’m so desperate to find really good Chinese, now if only some good Vietnamese and Thai...
