Lewes Public Library — Attraction in Lewes

Lewes public library is such a great facility offering many resources to the public. During my visit yesterday I was greeted by a sweet dog and a volunteer handler. The local shelter was there to provide info on adopting a pet. My visit was to get info on a question about an app for borrowing digital books. There just happened to be three volunteers in an activity room helping folks with computer questions. One of them researched my question and provided a solution that solved my problem. Did you know that you can still get books and movies during the pandemic? You can! Go online with your account and reserve what you want and when it comes in they will notify you via Text or Email (your choice). Then come in and pick it up during the hours they have setup. It is so flexible. Lewes library not have what you want, one of the other libraries in Delaware will send it to Lewes. It is so fast and easy. Free and Easy. Wonderful building, easy to access, and full of resources. There are comfy seats in front of a fireplace, separate rooms for childrens books, a teen space, conference rooms; a place for everyone.
