The food here is amazing when it comes to quality and amount. I've only been to the bar area a handful of times . Each time I went the same bartender has been there. He's always very attentive ,polite and helpful if needed . Definitely a five-star employee the owner was super lucky to have found him. The bar itself could use a bit of upgrading specifically the pool table. Cue sticks etc. I've seen ones in better shape listed for free on the yard sale site. At least consider getting the pool tables re-felted and leveled up and free up the clutter around them so people can shoot invest in a few new sticks some extra chalk .....something to show that area some love. This would be a great bar to shoot pool leagues out of and bring in so much revenue on pulling nights which I think are three days a week at least for APA. There are two gambling machines by the pool tables as well for added entertainment. I think we're moving some of the tables and relaying out that little area would be great for the place. You can go outside to smoke but there's no outside seating investing in some outside seating would also be cool during the warmer months. I've been to bars where they have picnic tables outside as long as somebody can sit down and enjoy their drink after a long day they don't usually mind what type of table etc. I'm not sure what it's like on the weekdays as I've only been there on the weekends but bathrooms could be a little bit cleaner I'm pretty sure that there's water leaking in one of them but nothing that would turn anybody away. Overall I really do like this place good music good atmosphere I just think it could make a lot more money seeing as it's one of the...
Read moreI started going to delta Pizza when I was young. Growing up in delta their wasn't much else to see or do. Sal knew this and saw the community needed something more. The pool hall was free the food was great. Sadly the old shop burnt down due to faulty wiring and with it went the heart of the town. The freezing winter that followed saw a kindling flame as the shop was being redesigned and rebuilt. In a matter of months the hearth was at full flame and delta was alive again. A few comparisons to take notice of are the changes in the food, the entertainment, and the family friendly environment. The food was great originally but is now outstanding in my personal opinion. The ingredients are as fresh as we can possibly get them and are prepared by some of the most splendid chefs, myself included. The new DP as its referred to now has weekly entertainment including Trivial Tuesdays for those who wish to show how much random knowledge they've acquired in their life. As well as musical talents Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. Now you might ask yourself where a band would play in a pizza shop? Well in the New DP Lounge of course. And of course Mr. Ferranti invested in a beautiful bar to watch football at , chat with friends over some drinks, or simply relax and unwind after a hard day of work. The pool hall is still free to this day and holds APA pool league several nights a week. Overall my experience at Delta Pizza as a customer is amazing. But my true joy is having the chance to give others that same amazing...
Read moreRather than being alone on Valentine's Day, I decided to spend it with friends I love who live in Delta. They decided they wanted to go to Delta Pizza, and I was fully up for it! I heard and read about this awesome place, how great Sal, the owner is, and how great the food was...and I had to experience it myself! I am part Italian and know and love great cooking. From the first moment you step in, it was setting foot in my Italian relatives homes....warm, inviting, friendly, and very welcoming! The staff are super terrific, and I got to meet Sal! What an awesome person....you can tell instantly he truly cares about his customers. Our satisfaction and experience was paramount to him as it always the case with his customers. And the food?? OMG! I had 2 thick pieces of his pizza....the dough is extraordinary.....the sauce reminded me of my Italian grandparents'...the cheese was plentiful....and the portions were plenty. You can definitely taste the pride, heritage, and hard work in that sauce and dough. My friends also had a pizza....heart shaped!! My other friend had a cheesesteak sub...and the bite I had of hers was awesome TOP NOTCH! It was a wonderful experience, and I am very grateful I got a chance to experience it! Hopefully, you do, too.....the entire experience....especially the food....is worth the distance and expense. Please stop in and visit! You won't be sorry!! HUGE thanks to Sal and everyone there...
