Happy Howies Homemade Ice Cream — Restaurant in Deltona

Very disappointed in our experience. The ice cream tastes like what you can get at a grocery store, no flavor/very bland. Small portions in little styrofoam cups. For two small sundaes (hot fudge is not included) and a small strawberry shake and 15% tip (they do not serve you, it's a walk up window, but I always feel pressured to tip with those screens) we paid $23. The kids that worked there were not excited to be there, were very quiet, and it just felt sad and uncomfortable inside. It's a huge building on the outside, but when you go in there is a tiny space to order and it was hot. There are some random weirdly placed benches outside, but nowhere welcoming or comfortable to sit. And all the seating is outside and I hate eating ice cream outside in Florida. We went to get ice cream, cause it was recommended, I asked the girl , with regular ice or is yogurt typed base she said no, I got the ice cream paid $7 and paid extra for topping cause I wanted extra hot fudge , first of they didn’t put it on , I come back in and the girl says it’s in bottom, my husband got to bottom no fudge , I go in bc at this point I’m annoyed bc my ice was melting and tasted off. So I asked her where the fudge and she said they only go middle , btw wasn’t , my ice wasn’t frozen ice cream , they don’t use milk they use a whole different dairy . Which I can’t have. Moral story staff not consistent and educated properly, and I wasted money bc I throw it away , I wouldn’t recommend this place at all and will not be back. Had a terrible experience I ordered a small hot fudge sundae the lady said I get a topping with it so I added caramel just on top got my ice cream and it was overfilling with caramel and ice cream I was overwhelmed with how much I got which I was pleased with and then I looked even more into it scraping some of it off with a napkin and throwing it in the garbage to find out there was no hot fudge in a hot fudge sundae I go back in to the lady and said there's no hot fudge in this she said you only get one topping I asked for a hot fudge sundae lady said I'll fix it for you she just went to the back and go up some hot fudge on top of a mess I handed it back to the lady and said no thank you very displeased with the customer...
