Becky's Diner — Restaurant in Deming

Arrived here as a result of a Google search while traveling in the local area last month. The menu offers several different choices, all of which are appealing. I finally decided and ordered the Classic New Mexico burger along with onion rings and sweet potato fries. After placing my order l surveyed my surroundings and observed the dining area to be immaculately clean. My food arrived at a quick pace. I felt my food was really good, it arrived hot, fresh and made to order. Sadly the wait staff seemed dismissive and aloof, almost as if lacking any measurable passion for their jobs. I really felt my server would rather have a root canal then wait on my table. While l found the food worthwhile, l never felt welcomed here by the indifferent staff nor did they ever make me feel valued as a paying customer. Sadly the stellar culinary accomplishments from the back of the house were soon lost and muted by the lame wait staff up front pretending to be providing customer service. Great food but dismal service. Keeping my water filled was a chore in itself. I'd gladly eat here again based just on the food, hopefully then whatever the issue was will be resolved. Yes it's...

Honestly I’m highly disappointed by this restaurant. There was a lot of hype for this restaurant but when I went in and tried it for myself, probably never coming again. The service was acceptable but the actual food was garbage. I tried the Zipper Ripper, which was $12 for just the burger with no fries or drink. If you wanted a full meal you’d be paying about $19 which is absurd. The burger was soaked in oil and honestly didn’t taste like anything with no seasoning. I decided to give the wings a try, but when I saw the price, 6 wings for $10, I wanted to just leave, but I gave them a chance. The wings were decent sized but tasted like any wings you could get at Walmart in the frozen section. There was barely any sauce on them. Saw that and tasted them, and was just like Na bruh. First off before I say anything, I would like to let you know that this is our first time visiting this location and town. Our first impressions were that it was really clean (extremely important esp. During these times), extremely inviting, colorful, loved the theme (dinner hippos), and with a retro vibe. The food was delicious. It was a personal spin on classic dinner foods. The employees were helpful and very informative. Always a plus when its your first time visiting. And what was the cherry on the top for me was the restroom. I don't know if any of you are like me, but I am extremely picky when it comes to restrooms. If it is not clean in the slightest I feel like it's not worth eating there. But this restroom was beyond clean. I would recommend this place and hope...
