Fuzzy's is one of my favorite restaurants however this location continues to have challenges and lacks consistency. They seem to be short staffed, the food at times is cold, hard or lacks ingredients. The cashiers seem to not know how to ring up items on the register or just do not listen. Anytime I visit, I order the California Heat Taco (CHT) and sometimes with beans and rice. During my last and final visit, I ordered the CHT. When I asked for beans and rice, the cashier replied that she would need to cancel the order and ring it up again to make it a taco plate bc the CHT does not come with beans and rice. This particular cashier, older lady has done this to me before. I went to sit down and my husband paid. When he brought me the receipt, I noticed I was rang up and charged for a basic shrimp taco plate. I brought it the cashier's attention that I was charged for the incorrect tacos. She immediately apologized and ran over to the cook to advise of the error. The cook/manager then comes to me with receipts in hand and ask me if I had changed my mind on my order. I explained the situation and he responds that he is going to refund me for the tacos and make fresh food. My husband's order was already ready and sitting at the pick up window. The cook/manager then comes back with a refund receipt for all of my food minus my husbands and tells me that If I want my food, I need to get back in line and pay for it. WTH?!? I kindly told him that I was on my lunch break and didn't have time to go through all of that. The situation upset my husband so he requested a refund for his portion of food. I do not understand why the cook/manager put me through all of that when he could have made my food as I requested and sent me to the register to pay the difference if money was an issue. I know how it is when it comes to shrink and being sure customers pay for food and ingredients being used. I get that but how this situation was handled was very unsatisfactory and unprofessional. I WILL NOT BE BACK TO FUZZY'S IN DENISON, TX AND I AM...
Read moreSo the story begins with me walking into the taco shop. "Mmmm tacoss 😁" I think to myself. I walk up to the register. There is a line. Can I make it? Is this where my story ends? After the most excruciating 1 minute and 26.3 seconds of my life its my turn. I order 4 chicken tacos with lime. NO LETTUCE. Then a chicken burrito, or if I'm being situationally aware, "burrito pollo". I wait another begrudgingly, agonizing and downright mentally tortuous 6 minutes and 61 seconds my food arrives (all things aside this was but a meager wait for a meal of this caliber) I dig in, a speed of food consumption Matt Stonie could only marvel at. I finish my meal, Gee wowza that was good, as I go to refill my sweet tea (no ice) my stomach rumbles... Oh my lord, what is this symphonic melody my innards are orchestrating. Then I feel it. My intestines are unraveling, and to be quite frank my bottom was clenched, This cannot be happening. Not now, not ever. I wince in pain, a singular teardrop from my young, but gorgeous eyes (ladies hmu). I rush quickly to the restroom to expel this tormented demon from amidst my stomach. 7 minutes and 42 seconds spent on the throne of porcelain. Longer that I spent on the meal has to be quite the mystery. Overall 10/10 I thoroughly enjoyed...
Read moreVery excited Fuzzys is back but the location sucks. Even tho it's right off the highway, it's far enough out of town to make it inconvenient. No spur of the moment food stop. They do have an enclosed patio for a quieter dining experience and 4 tvs in the main dining area for your enjoyment. However, the food was worth the drive. Kinda. Ordered ground beef nachos with jalapeños, a large (it's free drink next visit) sweet tea with 2 fingers of the mango tea--man it was good. I also ordered the child's plate with a cheese quesadilla with queso dipping sauce and sopapilla bites. The nachos was awesome with plenty of toppings but the kids meal was lacking. The queso was very thin (cheese flavored water), the cheese in the quesadilla was flavorless and the sopapilla bites were tough to bite into. Ignore the kids meal and it would be 5 stars. I realize this location is new and will improve but flavorless or water product is not a good...
