It saddens me to write this review, but my husband and I were sonewhat shocked at the poor customer service we experienced while there at our local Pizza Ranch this afternoon - at least compared to previous visits. Up front, service was efficient and friendly upon arrival at the cashier counter and there was a nice selection of buffet options. It was also nice to see the ice cream machine fixed as it had been broken the last time we were there. But that's where the positive experience seemed to end and the customer service stopped. Unfortunately, no one picked up any dishes that were dirty and set aside at our table. That has not been an issue in the past. No one came around at all while we were seated and asked if we needed anything or asked us how their service was. Again, this has not been an issue in the past and we'd appreciated the manager on duty personally making it a point to greet customers at their tables when we were there. Also, disappointing was the fact that when we left, the cashier did not take any initiative whatsoever to thank us for coming. She was apparently too busy talking to people at the counter to say anything to us as we were leaving. We walked right past her and it's so unfortunate this added to create such an overall negative experience. This restaurant wasn't even busy today. How unfortunate that as customers we felt we were pretty well ignored once the cashier got our money inside the door. A restaurant works hard to earn a reputation of providing good customer service. Was today just a fluke and we caught you on an "off" day? For your sake, I hope things get corrected and back on track! Suzanne and Jerry Kippley ...

The salad bar choices don't look very fresh or the items look as though they are out of season and not ripe. I used to be able to go in at lunch or even dinner time and get a one trip salad bar to go and make my salad how I wanted to in a decent sized bowl with a lid. Now if they allow for you to do that the little bitty square container with the 3 separate little sections doesn't give you enough space to make a decent salad that would fill a 5 year old. When they don't allow you a 1 time trip to make a salad to go you get a pre made salad with what they decide to put in the container which is not even as good as a salad from McDonald's or burger king. A Wal-Mart chef salad has better ingredients in it. I usually like the chicken here but even the last time I was there the buffet chicken pan was full but only had 1 chicken breast in the bin and it wasn't fully cooked. Very disappointed with the new owners concept of " good food". I'll think twice before...
Read moreTo make a round trip of 50 miles to have you guys make the pizza wrong is exhausting anymore but, this is the first time the manager didn't want to make it right. Ordered two large Tuscan pizzas, barely any sauce on them. We decided, meh okay... The kicker, we ordered a large pepperoni pizza also, and got home and it was thin crust. It should have been the original crust. My husband called and the manager argued with him over the phone that he would give us 75% off the next time. Uhm...When your business makes a mistake, you take accountability for it. Next time an order of a pepperoni should have been FREE. Also, the manager said, "well, at least you got a pizza". Who says that ish to a paying customer????? You guys are the ones that made the mistake, not us. I called back b/c that wasn't right. I got the same smart mouthed excuse from the same manager (Riley) and, the same comment "at least you got a pizza". Our total was around $68. We usually buy chicken too and walk out paying close to $80-100. Your location just lost...
