Frog Tiki Bar — Restaurant in Denton Township

Never have I been treated the way I was in this establishment. We arrived as a party of 4 on Saturday July 27th. We proceeded to give our name to the "Owner as we were advised", in which we were told there was a wait. We proceeded to the bar area where there were open stools to order a drink while we waited. Immediately the disturbed owner came over to the bar tender and advised her not to make our drinks, which we were perplexed. I asked the bar tender to confirm the bar stools were open seating. She seemed as equally confused as we were. After a good 5 minutes she was allowed to serve us drinks but confirmed we could not walk outside where the music was to drink them. Fast forward another 10 minutes one of the people we were with noticed a table of co-workers from down state and was speaking to them for a few moments. Then proceeded back to the door to confirm we were still wanting a table since there were open tables. The "owner" proceeded to tell him we would not be getting a table at all because we cut the line? Complete nonsense and I cannot believe any small business would operate this way, when patrons spent money while waiting for a table at your business. We will NEVER return to this place, I guess she can run her business the way she wants with a complete lack of respect for paying customers, and the food was terrible (which we had to eat at the bar because we were refused), and...

No one wearing mask, no social distancing at all. The staff is super slow. The hostess Avoided the entrance. She had people stand and waiting. Never Acknowledging them or seated them. I watched one couple get called saying their table was waiting for them, they went up to see the hostess stand and stood there for 10 minutes and then they sat themselves!.. again no hostess in sight. Within the same couple minutes I overheard a woman very upset because nobody would see her or speak to her, or anyone in her party, she had to hunt the hostess down to try and put their names on a list. There was some yelling. All I know is after Observing a poorly ran place, and how they deal with confrontation, no social distancing, and a hostess with not a clue. we left. I might add they Have porta pottys for restrooms, Not the most sanitary thing during a pandemic. I mean how are you keeping them sanitized? If the staff Isn't wearing masks and they are not respecting the 6' do you really think their bathrooms are gonna be clean. sorry I mean the...

Forth visit, first- OK, Second better, third Good, Yesterday, not in a hurry to go back. First of all service was not good. Then to find out that a table of six or better only one check. Strangely, one of the reasons was to give better service. Asked for a glass of water three times, ended up drinking a friends on the next table. My cocktail disappeared 3/4 done. A new one was offered. Did want a 3rd. Was eating the ice because of no water. Back to Six on a check in our group of 12, half use credit cards. They have that figured out, a ATM machine is coming in. Apparently customer service is not a priority. Food is passable, but over price. Didn't mind that because we had fun. But knowing that they do not care about customers or customer service, takes the fun out of it. Sorry frog. By the way this opinion was felt by 12 of 12...
