Dirty play place. Food was as expected. ( I mean, it's burger king). The rest of it was clean. But the play place was absurdly dirty.
Update 1 year later: I sometimes let my 5-year-old experiment with cooking. She has had more success with her culinary endeavors than this Burger King is capable of. Literally everything, I mean, everything in my order was wrong or terrible. My order: Coffee grounds in my Luke warm and bitter coffee, they don't pour your cream for you, you have to use those annoying small creamer containers to get some cream in the coffee. I also ordered bacon and cheese croissant. Received a sausage and cheese whiz croissant m My kids: Asked for cinniminis, received.. I would say they were under cooked.. but they were most likely just defrosted and served, also they did not give us any of the frosted topping... Not that it mattered because we weren't going to be able to eat them anyway. French toast sticks were at their usual greasy standard. So looks like there's one #win, guys. Husband ordered a Whopper... Received a sausage on a muffin roll.🤷 Also a large fry was ordered and what was received was probably yesterday's fries... Not even reheated. Also asked for a large Coke and received half a cup with loads of ice. I wish that I could say that this terrible food was served with a smile and great service. But for crying out loud people, why turn up to work if you can't even crack a smile?! I actually don't even want you to smile I would have preferred it if you just ignored me, But the curt responses and rushed taking of my order..."does that complete your order" has never sounded so aggressive! Guys, I feel like this is to be expected at this Burger King and it's my fault for coming here. #mybad We opened our bag, Saw what food we had... Mourned the loss of a little more than $20... And moved on to get breakfast that was delicious and served with great service at the Taco Bell down the road!🌮 The only thing I can't do is prove any of it, we threw the food away so quickly, we kind of regretted it afterwards, we definitely felt like we should have maybe said something to management, But if I'm not mistaken, he was the one that handed us...
Read moreWhen I say I RUSHED to leave my first google review, I couldn’t get it pulled up fast enough. My boyfriend and I come here often together at night for dates. Usually, the order accuracy is 90% BUT tonight - we pulled up to the order point, the order was taken within 20 seconds, repeated back to verify everything, and we were asked to pull forward. WHEN WE GOT TO THE DRIVE THRU WINDOW, let me tell y’all - the window was immediately opened, and a younger man was working at DT window - It started like a normal DT experience (and as someone who works at a fast-paced environment in management, I wasn’t expecting anything more than polite) - BUT when my boyfriend asked for a crown for me (something silly he does every time - and it is usually passed out asap to help lower DT times)
But tonight LUCAS did something absolutely exceptional (he deserves a promotion, raise, recognition, and the ability to train others - Lucas if you see this and EVER need somewhere to work, please email me)
He took the risk of an extra 10 seconds at the window and made my entire day - the interaction went like this:
BF: “No receipt, thank you, but could I please get a crown?” Lucas: “Yeah, sure, of course” notices me sitting in the passenger seat and no children in sight BF: “Thank you so much” Lucas: speaks louder to ensure that I can hear him - smiles at us “Yeah! Did you want one crown, or two” Me: “Could we get two?” BF: simultaneously “We only need one” Lucas: “Oh no, I can see that there are two people here tonight who deserve a crown.”
At this point I started laughing, BF sighed and accepted both crowns and replied with a “Thank you man”
THEN LUCAS AGAIN WENT THE EXTRA MILE - he replied as we shifted the shifted the car “ANYTIME, YOU GUYS RULE!”
At this point, I’m laughing, BF is laughing, Lucas is smiling. And I really think he can use extra recognition for that simple small moment. Anyways, the rest was pretty typical - but I wanted to recognize the effort, energy, kindness, attitude, and humor that this young man has. It truly matters as a customer and thanks. Read moreDenton Burger King is very inconsistent, Some visits have been great while others not so much. My most recent visit was not so good. I ordered through the drive thru, their speaker quality was terrible. I could barely understand what was being said or asked due to a very loud static noise. I’m a milkshake lover with BK shakes being one of my favorites. I ordered a Chocolate Shake with Whipped cream, Well of course I was given “Our milkshake machine is broken at the time” response. Unfortunately their milkshake machine seems to be broken or turned off just about every visit of mine. Every visit of mine I always order a shake. I’d say about 7 out of 10 times I’m unable to receive a milkshake with my order. They were also out of Ketchup packets during this visit as well as NAPKINS! At the pick up window the manager handed me the bag of food and told me to have a great day. I politely told him that I still needed 3 drinks. He seemed very confused while looking in my car to make sure there wasn’t already drinks in my cup holders. He asked me if I was sure that I didn’t have them already. I reassured him that I didn’t receive them and showed him my receipt. He ended up giving me the 3 drinks, I thanked him while looking up at him and he didn’t say and word and slammed the window shut. I feel they may need to work on their costumer service, Especially the manager(s). The food was delicious and hot, I’ve never had a problem with the food at this BK. So overall the customer service needs work along with keeping items in stock. Also making sure that ALL menu items are available at all times.
