Pizza Empire Denton — Restaurant in Denton

My boyfriend and I eat here often. We usually order delivery and have always received fast and courteous service up until recently. I’ve never left a bad review before, so I want to explain all the good before giving my opinion about the bad apple in the bunch. The food is always hot and prepared perfectly. The service is efficient and we love the new location. The bathrooms are clean and always smell fresh. The cashiers are bubbly and seem to know the menu by heart. Most of the drivers are equally friendly and knowledgeable of the area.

Now the bad. It’s normal to get a different driver with each delivery. There is one guy who works there who seems to do something wrong every single time he delivers to our house. We live down a long dirt driveway but the address is visible and clearly easy to locate since every other driver finds us. He’s attempted to deliver to our neighbors before and was standoffish when he realized where we were. His attitude made me feel uneasy, and that’s terrible when someone is delivering to your home. His accent is hard to understand and he rushes us to sign our visa slip like he’s strapped on time and can’t be bothered. My boyfriend has had his own personal experience with this guy almost hitting our parked car and then our pets when he turned around in our grass. We thought he’d been fired until we ordered recently and he showed up. Last week we stopped in the store to eat and parked on the side street. While eating he was on his phone speaking loudly while eating. It sounded like he was yelling in some foreign language paying no mind to being considerate of other people dining. Then, as we were about to leave, he was standing in the middle of the road on some video call blocking the road. We literally sat there for over a minute waiting for him to get out of the way. For all the good service and food you have, this type of employee makes me never want to order again. I hope management sees this and takes action or they’ll be losing...

Family was coming back from Deleware after a long day. Got a hankering for pizza and asked google to get us to a pizza place. We happened to be driving through Denton. Ended up calling in a large pizza with extra pepperoni. It was late on Sunday so the place was not busy. It looked very clean and inviting inside. I was greeted by a very friendly employee. Ok now the real good stuff. I do not work for this establishment. I was not compensated in any shap or form for this review. The pizza we got was the BEST pizza I have eaten. The dough was amazing. Perfect crust. Perfect amount of cheese and pepperoni. Perfect amount of sauce. Perfect cook time. Next time I visit DE, coming back through Denton I will make a pitstop here for another pizza. Keep up the amazing pizza craft. So the food rating is 4.8. Service 4.8. Atmosphere I could not fairly judge so I will start at a 3.5. I want to give a 5, but then there would need to be a 6th star as I am sure they can get to that. Went back on 8-4-25 and got another pizza, mozzarella sticks, and chicken tenders. Win win win! 5.0 star...

sure is easier to eat a delivery salad with a fork rather than my fingers. Rated decor even though was not there. Will try to get there next two months while i'm in town working. Fried clams decent (need more tatar sauce) and greek salad good but way too much and way too large chunks of feta. I only ate about 1/4 of the probably half pound that came on it. Also would like to comment that the ordering over the phone was fairly painful; i'm pretty sure she was new and young hope she gets trained better before put on as the public 'face' of the shop. Day 2; specifically asked of r a fork and not brought but delivery guy had one. I'm ordering to a hotel - i don't have a drawer full of utensils. food pretty good again, just think a fork would be good especially when i order one. And soup is much more easily eaten with a spoon rather than a fork. The spoon did not come in...
