Very disappointed after trying this place again after a terrible delivery experience months ago (ordered a supreme pizza, only got olives on it??). We went in since theres no updated menu online, after looking at their in store menu and selecting our pizzas, our total was $5 more than expected and when i asked we were told -Prices have gone up (so more expensive than their menu says) -The 2 Large 2 Topping pizzas for $16.99 is no longer a valid offer (even though its advertisedon the walls of their business AND it was on the menu) One of our toppings was extra (again, menu did NOT specify this and we were not told of any of the price gouges until I asked ok, fine, whatever still 2 pizzas for $20, we work at a food truck so we know times are tough, but the pizzas were no short of pathetic and completely unfair after they have already overcharged you 3 times on the price.
Pictured is Pepperoni w/mushrooms and Chicken w/spinach
The spinach was burnt to a crisp, and all other toppings are non existent. Found 3 pepperonis in my whole pizza.
We love supporting local businesses, but this pizza was trash and their pricing was incredibly sketchy, especially when we were in the store trying to find the most accurate pricing, they still tried to add prices without informing their customer and was very unapologetic and unprofessional. Their service was also subpar, the cashier lady was rude and did not assist us until the owner came in and sent her out to the front. Will not be returning, hope they fix these...
Read moreI've lived in Denton for a little less than 2 years now and I've been driving by Roman's Pizza every time I'm running errands. I love pizza, but tend to only buy frozen pizza from the grocery store (like Red Barren) or order from Papa John's.
I finally decided to try Roman's Pizza with a friend of mine and we were both really impressed. The owner was warm and friendly and treated every customer with a smile and kind greeting, and every guest was like a V.I.P. to him. You don't get customer service like that anymore!
The pizza itself was DELICIOUS! We got a large regular crust pepperoni with mushroom. The crust was crispy and airy, and the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Best of all, it wasn't overly greasy, but not too dry either. It sure beat Papa John's or a grocery store pizza!!!
This pizzeria is now going to be my favorite pizza place. The pizza tastes awesome, the prices are fair (not overly priced like the franchised places), and they deliver for about $2 more (minus tip).
I highly recommend that if you haven't tried this place, then do so. I'm sure you won't be...
Read moreSo. Like many of you may be doing right now - I read a ton of reviews before trying this place. And ultimately decided to get TJs instead. Then one night after sitting in traffic and almost getting in a car wreck - I was ready to call it a night and did not want to go far from home AT ALL. So I bit the bullet and ordered two large pizzas - one pepperoni with extra cheese, one pepperoni and sausage thin crust - hoping I’d have one of the better experiences. Total was almost $19 for carry out. Ordering via phone was easy. Food was ready fast. Customer service was good. But y’all.... this pizza. I would have been better off spending $10 and getting two hot and readys. The pepperoni with extra cheese literally looks JUST LIKE a hot and ready with LESS pepperoni. The thin crust might have 5 pepperonis on the whole thing and NO sauce. The crust tastes about as good as the stuff that comes out of the can by pillsbury.
Don’t waste your time or money. Skip and go to one of the better...
