Subway — Restaurant in Derry Township

I hadn't visited Subway for some time. Quite honestly we only ate here because I had to be at the school nearby and there was no other option. I wish I could say it was better but sadly no.

Subway continues to be a no other choice option for me. They had signs and posters around for a new sunflower seed bread that sounded interesting; when I ordered it I was told they didn't have any. I decided to order the steak and egg breakfast, but the "steak" was clearly no different than the last box of Steakums I purchased.

The toppings to choose from were limited and regardless of what the commercials say I do not believe they were fresh that morning.

I did not finish my breakfast sandwich and wished that I had gone to the quick service place nearby instead for lunch.

In my humble opinion, it would behoove Subway at a corporate level to take a hard look at some of their competitors and what they are doing and maybe do a serious restructure. But that is just my...

Update 2023: They no longer carry the gluten free bun, sadly. So we've stopped coming here. My experiences have always been good here. They have gluten free buns available for those with celiac or other dietary restrictions, and I've had trouble finding those readily available at other subway locations. The ingredients are usually pretty fresh and the staff is courteous. Convenient location. Chips, cookies and drinks well-stocked.
