My husband and I had eaten here a few times years ago, but those experiences weren't great. After getting food to-go there today, it definitely seems to have improved!

The food was delicious, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the restaurant was clean, and our order was ready within minutes. I ordered two crispy beef tacos, a large salsa, and plenty of extra chips. My husband got their largest burrito, The California. The man who took our order was very patient and accommodating when I had questions about their menu.

I made sure to check our food before pulling away, and I will say that my tacos were made incorrectly. However, it was just a miscommunication, and they were extremely quick to fix it.

My wife, two children, and myself stopped here for a quick lunch. We had never been to Tortugas before and never heard of it so we were extremely happy when our food was delicious, the service was on point, and linch for the 4 of us was under 40 dollars! We have a local mexican restaurant we normally frequent but we all agreed that this restaurant has our normal one beat. The selections are great, many specials for lunch and dinner. Never ate there but I did just stand a inside the front door for 5 minutes trying to ask one of the 3 employees if I should seat myself, one was gossiping with the person picking up food in the drive thru, the other two were sitting and laying in the booths with their headphones in their ears while on their phones. Thanks for keeping me from ever considering to try your food. If it’s anywhere as pathetic as your customer service, you saved me from feeling sick....
