If I could give zero stars, I would. Ordered one Whopper meal with small diet Coke, a Whopper with cheese, and 10 piece nuggets shortly before 2 a.m. (Sunday morning)
We pull up to the window. No one is there. Then, a guy wearing a wife beater walks by the drive-through window (I'm assuming an employee?). Finally, someone comes up to the window. The guy tells me the price. I try to hand him the money, he just walks away. He then comes back, I give him the money and ask for BBQ and Buffalo sauce for the chicken nuggets. He says, I'll have to charge you extra. I said, why? Says right here that you get 2 sauces with a 10 piece nuggets but Okay. (Thinking, it's 25 cents each, I'll survive). He just ignores me. So rude.
He hands me a large drink. It's clear. We didn't try it...not sure what it's was but it surely wasn't a small diet Coke. We said nothing.
Then, the wait begins. We sat there as the cars piled up behind us. I see another guy walk by from the kitchen, definitely not in uniform looking a bit scruffy. Then, I see another guy working on food, clearly, he has gloves on and he is looking unkempt, too.
After, at least 15 mins of sitting there, we see our drive-through cashier gathering bags. Trust me, we would have left but we were on our way back from the ER with a sick 3 year old wanting fries. So, we patiently waited.
Apparently, the drive-through cashier thought it was a good idea to get all the meals ready before coming back to give us ours.
We just took it and left. The fries were old and stale. After seeing what the employees looked like, no one wanted to eat their Whopper. Oh, and that Whopper with cheese - we were given a junior Whopper with cheese. So, everything except for the chicken nuggets went right into the trash. They weren't good either, but someone was really hungry.
All in all - who runs this place? The employees look unclean and they're rude and clearly...
Read moreHoly moly ! Whoever was running the drive thru at 10am 12/22 needs to be retrained in customer service. I understand- it’s Burger King. It’s also not in the best part of town, but I still expect to be talked to respectfully. I am a manager in retail and I would’ve been appalled if any of my associates spoke to a customer how the person over the intercom spoke. I overheard the person in front of me ordering and the entire time you could hear how condescending the person sounded over the intercom “uhhh… we don’t have that” instead of “I’m so sorry that’s not something we have, could I suggest __?” And then when I pull up I let them know I have a mobile order and all I get is a “okay come on” in the most I-don’t- wanna-be here voice I’ve ever heard. It was so off-putting I had no idea what to say back so I just drove up to the window, I heard more things said over the intercom but didn’t make out what was said. Once I got to the window the lady that handed me the food kindly smiled, but I had to start the dialogue or else I don’t know if I would’ve gotten greeted at all and just handed my food. I’m not sure if she was the same one on the intercom or not. Again, I understand- it’s Burger King. I’m not expecting some high end customer service. But I’ve never heard someone talk like that through a drive thru ever. People have bad days- understandable, but I’ve worked with the public several years and have received some terrible news right before helping a customer and still would’ve never talked to a human that way. Either this person needs a job not with the public- or management needs to fight for their employees and figure out why they are so miserable and see what they can do to make the environment better. Happy employees= happy customers and staffing...
Read moreI drive by this place everyday to and from work and I stop here frequently. To be honest burger King is not a go to of mine for fast food as they often serve food that is cold. However, this Burger King does a great job and out of the 10 - 20 times that I have gone to this location I have never once been served cold food. As far as the food goes, it is good fast food, nothing spectacular, just good. My only problem with this place is that the indoor atmosphere is not a good one. This place attracts allot of the rough crowd and the two times that I have gone in and say down to eat I have felt a little uncomfortable. There is also a lot of questionable characters that hang around the parking lot making it a constant worry that someone is gonna break into my vehicle. There is an easy fix to that and that is just to use the drive through. The drive through is fast and easy. Overall, it is not a bad place they workers do a good job and have never messed up my order. Which makes it a decent fast food place by...
