We are Beaverdale residents & stopped by with a couple friends from out of town at 9:57 PM (Friday evening) - their Google hours say they close @ 10. There was about 4 other tables of customers sitting outside enjoying their ice cream at this time when we got there. As soon as we walked up to the window, the employees turned off the lights & locked up the windows. Look, I understand we got there right before closing. But at least give us the common courtesy to maybe open the window and say "Hey guys, sorry - we are closing up for the night." Now I've got friends who are disappointed and certainly not going to want to give this well-known Beaverdale establishment another shot. I know your ice cream is good ... Not sure if it's the training of the young workers who were there that made this go bad or what. Maybe consider handling this situation differently next time, we want to keep...

We enjoy Snookies a lot because it's in our neighborhood and locally owned. We like supporting small businesses and we've been coming here for 10 years! Their ice cream is decent for the amount you get and price you pay. We especially enjoy their chocolate peanut butter malts and ice cream cones with birthday cake dip!

That being said, it's always driven me a little crazy that they don't mix up their Arctic Blasts (which are similar to Blizzards.) They fill a cup with ice cream and then put the toppings on, but don't mix it up. It's more like a sundae than a...

We loved getting ice cream at Snookies! It is very well run! There was a line up to the street with about 20 people ahead of us, but service is so quick that we didn't mind the surprisingly short wait to order and get our cones in hand. Very friendly staff and enough outdoor seating to accommodate a lot of people. The extra seating around the back parking lot is nice, too. The kid cones were a good option for my children. We loved the sprinkle nut mix on top of our twist cones. I wish we tried the peach dole soft serve! Don't forget to grab a selfie in front of the...

This ice cream shop is very good. Every time we drove by there was a line of people. Tonight we finally stopped and ordered some treats. I was very impressed how fast the lined moved and we actually didn't have to wait that long. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We accidentally got there about 2 min before they closed and every one tested us kindly and even helped explain some items on the menu. All of our ice creams were good and tasted very good. I would like to come back with the whole family. Worth a visit for sure!

Good summer spot with a pretty deep menu of frozen treats. Note they only serve vanilla and chocolate soft serve ice cream. They have an item that is comparable to a DQ Blizzard on the menu plus your standard fare of shakes and sundaes. The malt was good but not the best I've ever had. In peak season there is typically a long line of cars at the drive through as well as in the parking lot. Tip: park in the church parking lot to the west of Snookies.

I tried 3 things during one visit (my kids got mint shake and hit caramel shake, i got an orange slush and freeze?) They were busy, both in the drive through and walk up window, yet their service was fast. Prices were cheaper than comparable and they had plenty of outdoor seating. They also appeared to be a very clean and well kept establishment. I would return to and/or recommend this place.
