I'm kinda torn on what to rate to be honest. The food is absolutely amazing, however, it can be inconsistent in how well it is made and quality. The majority of the time, the food is made very well and the quality of the chicken is great! Sometimes though, the food is burnt, dry (chicken tenders, fried chicken, okra, mozzarella sticks, jalapeno poppers), and sometimes the pieces of fried chicken and chicken tenders are small, with very little meat. When you combine that with burnt & dry, it is very disappointing especially being that I usually spent $43.50 on my usual order there for my family.
I haven't bothered to try calling to complain because we still eat it anyways because I'm not about to take it all back up there when my kids are hungry and looking forward to Captain Jay's.
One thing that really irritates me though more than anything is when I ask for an extra little side of the lemon pepper seasoning and they say they don't have it, when you know they do - or especially when I order it, pay for it, but they don't actually give it to me.
There was also one time they forgot to hand me back my cards, and I went through absolute heck trying to retrieve them. I KNEW that's where I left them, and the manager that was there the next morning to open was 15 minutes late, and he couldn't find them. I asked him if he could go back and look again, and he still didn't see them. I asked him to contact the drive thru cashier from the day before that was at the window at 4:30, bc they had to have put it somewhere. He said he couldn't get a hold of her. I told him I wasn't leaving until I had them, then he went back again and found them. It was SO stressful, and shows just how disorganized the office area must be. I've worked in restaurants and anytime a card is left, that card goes straight to the manager and gets put in a secure spot where nobody else can get them. It was very concerning he had no idea where they were and it took him 3 separate times of entering the room/area and searching...
Read moreI like the flavor of the food but their customer service is piss poor @ the W. Warren location. I placed a order in the drive-thru yesterday and they messed up my order. Sadly I didnt realize it until a couple hours later when I sat down to eat. So I took my paid receipt and the receipt of the food that they gave me in today. And ask if I could either have the monetary difference back or my correct order. The manager told me he could give me a food item to cover the $2 difference. I again told him what I was willing to accept he says well I can't give you the correct order because I would have to fire the employee that messed it up. After going over the terms again he then said he would give me the difference but it was coming out of that employee's pay. I have never had an issue like this in any fast food restaurant. He lost a customer. Who treats their employees like that. It was a simple mistake but we should have to have 4 minutes of banter over it. I had both receipts as proof. I will just take my money to Popeyes from now on where there is no back and forth they hand you your correct order and bid...
Read moreI ordered all together, 20 wings/fries with, 5 piece catfish dinner.... paid the $1 fry fee, & almost $50 for the meal and even confirmed with the cashier/receipt, "Catfish". I waited in the drive through 15-20 mins for my food checked everything before I left, I felt something was off, because it didn't smell like çatfish, I then tapped bk on the window about the fish and the lady reassured me it was catfish...got all the way home, started eating the fish..... it wasn't catfish but it sure enough was whiting...plus the fish was very soggy on the inside..ended up throwing all 5 pieces away...Very disappointed, at least the lady cashier was...
