Everything Turkey — Restaurant in Detroit

Went in yesterday ordered a turkey rib dinner and a turkey meatloaf dinner when I got home it was turkey chops not the meatloaf. I didn’t call and complain because the turkey chops was my next choice but I had my mouth set up for meatloaf. The turkey ribs was ok they could have been grilled more to give it that outdoor cooking taste for the sides I had Mac and cheese and yams they was ok now for the sides in the other meal totally inedible we had cornbread dressing and collard greens. The dressing tastes as if someone used the wrong side of the pepper seasoning it was so peppery the cranberry sauce couldn’t even mask the taste. It was so hot my mom almost threw up no celery no onions nothing like that just black pepper and cornbread. The collards was ok they had a lot of black pepper in them as well. Overall ok but I wouldn’t order those items again I’m gonna give them another chance. Please cooks taste as you cook. This happened today. I am highly disappointed. I purchased a two meatloaf meals and a turkey meal. I had corn as a side, yams, macaroni, dressing,mash potatoes and corn. I left got back to the house and noticed my mashed potatoes and a side of gravy that I purchase was missing. Upon me feeding my kids. I preceded to call the place back. I stated to them what was missing. They told me I had to bring everything back in order for them to replace what will missing. Minded you I pay over 60 bucks for this meal. There’s know reason for me to lie. So I proceeded off the phone. I said don’t even worry about it they won’t have to ever worry about me back again. The turkey wings was cut in half. Meaning one whole turkey wing was cut in half and I was charge $18 for it. For one. The yam peel was still on the potatoes. The green had no seasoning. Honestly it just wasn’t my cup of tea at all. We heard of this restaurant in a tiktok review and had to try it. I have to say that I'm very glad we did.

We ordered the turkey chops, which were fantastic. I ordered the Cajun (grilled) and my friend ordered the herb & parm (fried). I really liked the Cajun, but I sampled the herb & parm and found it to be extremely delicious.

The side dishes we ordered were amazing. The Mac & Cheese was some of the best I have ever had (no joke) and the candied yams were excellent, though a bit sweet. The fried corn and the string beans were also very good.

The staff were very courteous. We ordered ahead and our food was ready when we were told it would be. The prices were reasonable, considering the economy, as of late. It was well worth the price.

I believe that you can dine in, if you choose to; however, it wouldn't be my first choice.

All in all, I can honestly say that I will definitely be back for more chops. I highly recommend this restaurant....
