Fred’s Crab Shack — Restaurant in Detroit

I was looking for somewhere to eat and stumbled across this place. I saw a gentleman going to his car and asked where they still open and he told me yes. It was close to closing and he told me that they don't take orders over the phone after 8:30 but he went inside grab the pen and paper and came out to the car and took my order. I called to check to see if it was done, he knew it was me and brought it out to my car. I was so appreciative of the service and ask them is named and come to find out it was Fred; the owner himself. I told him I would definitely be back just off the customer service. Food was hot, fresh and good!!! Go support this...

Fred's has established themselves as the fsh kings in me and my family eyes.

I really don't know or understand what's going on with the fish market these days, but the fish from other establishments I have frequented, are bad pieces of fish to sell to the market.

I won't name the establishment, but they serve fish for profits only. The quality of the fish is subpar at best .

Fred's has consistently served fresh flavorful fish, with choice pieces that were selected for satisfaction and to cure the hunger of their customers.

This place is definitely different 🤔🤨 The daily specials were hand written. On a poster board (located on the floor🙁👀👀. Next I didn't see 👀👀👀 a menu. I asked to look @ the menu. He informed me "No"! Because, it was the only one. 🤔🤨🙁 I can't see the menu. However, what if I want something that not listed. On the daily specials of the day board. Overall, the food was good. However, let the buyer beware. Unless you purchase an item off the daily specials menu. Hummmmm........Proceed...
