Good Cookies — Restaurant in Detroit

This place is the epitome of a neighborhood staple! The cookies aren't good, they're great! They should change their name to Great Cookies 🍪 😋! First time having the breakfast sandwich. As a non pork eater, I was pleased to know that I didn't have to request turkey bacon because turkey bacon is the only option. It was warm and delicious, I got it as is and wouldn't have it any other way. They serve coffee and tea but I did not know that beforehand. I follow them on Instagram and they never advertise this. I picked up coffee at another local place but will be sure to grab a cup on my next visit. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Had been following for a while, and was finally in the neighborhood. I'm always on the hunt for a good, buttery cookie. My day has arrived. I've traveled the burbs, downtown, and everywhere in between looking for a cookie made with butter, and you can taste it. Ordered 4 choco chip, 2 PB, Shortbread. Omggggg!!!! This shortbread was alast minute add on, so glad I did. It's buttery, tender, not overly sweet. I think I'm in love. Thank you Good Cookies for answering my prayers. This isn't exactly close for me, but definitely worth it. They have a nice lounge, seating area for enjoying your cookies and a hot beverage. Music playing, jazz artist photos just an all around cool vibe. Will definitely be back. Don't forget to sign up...

First of all, I have a problem with this place and I will explain what that problem is in a minute. I purchased (5)chocolate chip, (3)oatmeal raisin, (3)peanut butter, (5)lemon, and (5)double chocolate chip cookies on 4/1/23. Service was excellent. The cookies....I don't know if there is a word in the English language to describe them!! What I will say is that those lemon cookies were all gone Sunday morning!! All eaten by yours truly because those are my favorite!! There are a few cookies left, because my family loved them as well. Here is my problem.....THEY ARE CLOSED UNTIL THURSDAY!!!
