Grandy's Coney Island — Restaurant in Detroit

I use to love this place, and they were the only Coney island I would go to but not anymore . I wish I could give them 0 stars..... I went to Grandys at 12am on a Friday 09/14/2019 and there was 2 or three black women behind the counter and one of them was the cook. Im not sure if the cook was high or what but she made my salad on the lid of the container which is the smaller part of the container, upside down with hardly no lettuce and burnt chicken. When I took my salad back the cook refuse to remake it and said there was nothing wrong with it and said, she'll just put more lettuce on salad , on top of the meat...WTH are u serious??? How is this acceptable??? The cook is rude and unprofessional and the staff lack customer service, because an establishment is in the hood does not mean you get a pass to be rude. If these are the people the owner hire to represent his company that in itself is pretty sad... When they use to have the middle eastern cook the food was excellent but not anymore .Untill this staff that was working late night is gone, I will never come back to Grandy Coney Island on...

Extremely rude, unprofessional, and horrible customer service. Ordered a 10 wing and chili cheese fries through Doordash and specified sliced cheese for fries. I recieved wings with cheese on them and onions all over my chili cheese fries. After calling and being hung up on 8 times I decided to go rectify the order in person after working a 14 hour day. Waited patiently in line for 30 min before speaking to the cashier. I told her what the problem was and she looked for my receipt. After finding my receipt she spoke to whoever was in charge and told me that's how I ordered it and they wouldn't correct it. I tried to explain the way the menu on Doordash is set up when you order wings it gives you the option to add other items in the same wing menu so I ordered the fries and specified sliced cheese instead of squeezed. Upon explaining this I was told they wouldn't fix my order and to take it up with Doordash and they walked away. Grandy's is a goldmine because of the location, but they give horrible service because they know people...

The absolute worst Coney Island in the city the staff is extremely rude to customers. Your are always waiting for more than 30 minutes for your food just to get it home and it be incorrect. They have no customer service skills at all. They are extremely unprofessional using profanity while talking to customers and among themselves. I have visited this establishment a few times trying to give them the benefit of the doubt Thinking maybe they are just having a bad day business wise but I was soon to realize that this is a every day thing. I have witnessed staff members argue with customers customers upset because they called in orders and when they got there was told that they didn’t have a order in that name and that it would be an hour wait to get the order that they had previously ordered over an hour ago. I would never spend another dollar at this place. The owner really needs to see what goes on inside of his or her establishment and clean house bad...
