Hollywood Coney Island — Restaurant in Detroit

I have to remember I'm back in Detroit.

2:00 a.m. I arrive at Coney Island and place my order. When I get to the drive through window, a woman is there trying to sell "a brand new bluetooth radio." I picked up my order, and the cold slaw and tartar sauce is missing. While waiting for my tartar sauce, I saw a police officer removing the non- paying customer from round Hollywood Coney!

Buy the way, the shrimp was seasoned and hot. The fries were hot and unseasoned, the cold slaw and tartar sauce was too acidic.

I only ever go on early weekday mornings, and there's almost never a line or even a car in front of me, albeit all i use is their drive thru service. I've never been on the inside. The only thing I get is a Corned Beef and Swiss Omelette and it is always hot and delicious. They forgot to put cheese on my hash browns the one time i asked for it though but they didn't charge me for it so i said forget it. Anyway the woman at the drive thru is gorgeous and very polite. Horrible Customer Service. They answer the phone and say “hold on” then hang up instead of just saying “we don’t take phone orders.” or whatever. They pick and choose when to have the lobby open. I attend the school right next door, people can’t even call in a pick up order if they don’t drive. They want them to STAND in the drive thru. The food isn’t even that good anymore, per my own tastebuds and the reviews, just close down honestly. Stop only hiring family and hire some actual good workers. Very inconsistent service...
