Ok this is what happened with moores!we ordered 2pot roast dinners thought it was last week or before FOOD was hard and tough&tasted old I called and spoke to Gina I ask if they had new cooks she said no the same one.I said this was not good she said what do you wanna do? I said well what do u think she says ok well ill give you a free dinner I said I bought 2 my mom which is 105 yrs old is complaining as well so she said she would put my name on the WALL I should have asked for my money back anyway I called two days ago to get my replacement meals and she did NOT HONOR her word said it was a week pass the EXPIRATION!I said u never said anything about an expiration date( JUST MAKING UP STUFF AS YOU GO) I WAS SO ANGRY I said okay Gina and hung up K IS MY SISSIE and I asked her to leave this review for our family because as much money as we spend here weekly im talking five dinners at a time well moving forward we will drive all the way downtown to URBAN SOUL FOOD WHERE THERE IS CONSISTENCY!!! I'm from Ohio. I drove there for the circus and wanted to try some good soul food. I found this place on google o ordered 2 smothered turkey chops. I got greens and dressing for my sides. The price sounded right. So I didn't look at my receipt. I looked at the food and it seemed correct. When I got back to Ohio I discovered that I didn't have turkey chops I had pork chops. Tried calling the restaurant immediately however no one answered. I called the next day and talked to someone. I explained what happened. She proceeded to tell me about their policy. I admitted that I was partly to blame because I never looked at my receipt and so I did not notice that I was charged for the wrong order. The person on the phone just kept saying there is nothing I can do. I didn't want a free meal I just wanted them to know the mistake they made so they won't future mistakes like that. Okay so I ordered a turkey chop dinner with Mac n cheese and sweet corn I ordered a meatloaf dinner with candied yams and mash. I got a peach cobbler on the side. I really don’t do reviews but I had to do this one because I spent $53 dollars on sugar. The sweet corn is definitely a no for me (FOR ME!) it’s too sweet entirely the mash potatoes taste boxed the meatloaf was very salty for some reason the cornbread has no effort at all. The Mac is okay. The turkey chops are good fried not smothered I got both. The peach cobbler is good the candied yams are good as well (sweet as well but it was a good over sweet). Customer service was nice she wasn’t rude like google reviews made her seem she said yall call & just don’t know what yall want. Over all I rate the place a solid 6❤️ it cost too much and the food doesn’t taste like the price at all. Not really a waste of money but I could’ve went somewhere else far...
