Roseland Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Detroit

Shotgun bar with pool table in the back. Drinks watered down, Bartender was inexperienced and slow. Tried rum and cokes it tasted flat with no bite. So next tried straight rum shots and realized that the liquor itself was watered down . The place was empty. Got there about 9 on Sunday night. Ordered a couple beers after the rum shots cause we figured they couldn't water down those. She took our order then went to the 3 guys that had just walked in. Long story short about 20 minutes later after watching her laugh and cut up with the 3 guys we told her just get our tab . She then asked oh, did you still want those 2 beers lol. It was only 5 people total in the whole joint. We stayed about an hour. Didn't order food didn't trust it, felt like a rip off $36 for 4 shots of premium rum ain't outrageous if it ain't watered down that is. But that b.s. was. I through 2 twenties down and we bounced. Roseland! Its a bar. A bar bar. Not like a bar with a DJ. No its a bar with a jukebox. Its a bar. You know pool table. Its a bar you know sports on every television. Its a bar drinks are cheaper on the tipping scale. Its a bar like a convient bar right there where you go if you on the northwest dont want to go far want to have a good chill time drink eat talk a little bit mingle with Bengals you know a bar. Only reason they get 4 stars is cause they are simply not large enough to get five. Its just a square footage issue. I believe if they had more space with the people that runs the bar they would clean up well. Put it like this they like the Ford Fusion of bars. I mean like Roseland isn't the Fiesta or ecosport of bars. They definitely not a Taurus. But I enjoyed myself each time...

I had the turkey bites and fries. When I got my order I opened the box and the turkey chops looked like popcorn chicken. The batter looked like it was for Fish. The Fries were Shoestring. Looking undercooked and bland, I decided to taste. Well it was not good at all. Tasted cold like they've just been thawed. The order was hefty I have to say.
