They are horrible. They are not professional. They are more interested in getting your money than providing excellent service. My door peep whole is above every person head in this house. Not at all by request. The door has scratches on it and the wood casing the door is in is splitting. I called to complain on the next day after installation because I was unable to take off work after the 2 days off and both times installation was canceled by no call no show. Yes they just didn’t show up. Against my better judgment I still went forward with the purchase and it has been a nightmare thus far. You can even see light shining through from the seems of the door. If you want the man down the street uncles cousin who just happen to do a little home improvement to install your door for the price of a professional license established company call protector window and door. You will waste every penny. If you want quality service from professional installers find another place to go. Oh I thought I was getting a custom door and the installer remeasured my door on site and than cut the door in the driveway. That’s how they custom your door. Top dollar for low quality service. It was many other problems I had, too many to write. In the end after 4 months of calling and calling the general manager cursed at me and hung up ending with im not fixing your peep hole or any scratches on your door and I will send someone out to tell me whether or not the light you see is there. I asked for cooperate and she told me to come see her as if she wanted to fight me. It was horrible. Trinity, the general manger, needs to be replaced. And if there is no one over her the business needs to shut down. I have made a formal complaint with the better business bureau in hopes that this will not happen to anyone else. I am writing this review to save someone from a...
Read moreUnfortunately, after about a decade or more of doing business with this company and tens of thousands of dollars spent, I will never use again. Kenny, my salesperson, has always been customer service oriented but the rest of the company I suppose is getting too big to care about longtime customers.
I had some shutters installed on a Friday for which I had put a 50% deposit down. I was not at the commercial rental property, which was vacant, at the time the shutters were installed. Therefore, once the installers finished installing the shutters, they took the keys and I figured that I would finish paying for the shutters once I picked up the keys.
I had asked to finish paying for the shutters the following Friday but was prepared to pay earlier if absolutely necessary. Unfortunately, Trinity, the General Manager, and another employee named Teresa took it upon themselves to call me incessantly about the balance; I did not answer the calls because I thought that alerting my salesperson who has been with the company nearly 20 years that I would pay the following Friday when I picked up the keys was sufficient.
By that Tuesday (about 48 hours - two business days) after the Friday install, Trinity took it upon herself to have the installers remove the shutters that had just been installed the Friday before. My salesperson tried to intervene and was told that I would have to pay an additional $600.00 to have the shutters reinstalled along with my balance. Now, I will have to dispute the deposit with my credit card company because I’ve now paid for nothing. I have no shutters…installs or...
Read moreFirst let me start off by saying the measuring and estimate appointment went well. They made sure we understood it would take four weeks before they were able to do the work. We put a deposit down and were told they would disposal the doors we had. A little after four weeks Teresa called to let us know the guys would be out to install, and told us our remaining balance. We were excited for the install.
The guys (two of them)came out and installed the doors within 3 hours, the job looks great and they did cleanup after.
However, here is why they are getting three stars, because as I said, the job looks great. But, they took my dust pan after they asked to borrow it ( I called and they said they would bring it back. I still have not received it) , then they left the doors stating it would be an additional 20$, but I was told when putting the deposit down they would take them. I did not make a fuss because I know someone who hauls junk. Today, I went to take the trash out and they put all the trash they ripped out the old doors in our trash can, so now I can’t put my regular trash in there. Detroit is strict on housing scraps being put in trash bin and now we have to figure that out.
Here is a suggestion for you all going forward. Bring a trash bin with you to haul away housing materials/ trash or let the customer know you don’t have that option, then we can prepare...
