Wendy's — Restaurant in Detroit

I was hurt. Treated like nothing.

I honestly didn’t expect to write something like this, but what happened at this Wendy’s location was too much to stay silent about. I went there to simply pick up my order. I didn’t cause any trouble. I didn’t say anything wrong. But the way the workers treated me was disgusting.

They looked at me like I didn’t belong there. Talked to me with attitude, laughed at me, and made me feel completely unwanted. I was shocked. I’m a human being. I came with respect, but I was treated like trash for no reason. That’s not “bad service”—that’s emotional harm.

This isn’t just about food. It’s about dignity. I left that store feeling angry, embarrassed, and hurt. And the worst part is, they didn’t even care. No apology. No explanation. Just cold, ugly behavior.

To Wendy’s: if you really care about your customers, fix this location now. Train your team, or change them. Because no one deserves to be treated like I...

This has to be the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I am a City of Detroit worker and during our lunch coworker and I decided to go to this Wendy's. We were in a company car with CityOfDetroit logos and both in full uniforms that also have CityOfDetroit logos. We parked and a worker who was outside in front of the store smoking a cigarette said the inside was close and the big work truck would fit thru drive-thru to go ahead. We did and the lady on the speak was very rude said we can't do two orders and she can't help she don't have staff to open the doors. She had an attitude the entire conversation. Maybe nobody wants to work at this location because she is the manager. I know I would never be able to deal with someone like her who just has an attitude for no reason. We just wanted to eat, but our money went somewhere else and I will never go to this...

Sssssuuuupper slow! The food itself was good and hot though. I really wish there was more care and thoughtfulness to keep things up to date. The drive thru menu showed old, less expensive, prices. When I addressed the discrepancy of the posted menu with reality I was met with statements of disbelief, as if it's my fault for not knowing that. They said, "that hasn't been the price for like two years". But if anything that's more a testament to how ridiculous it is that it still hasn't been updated. But aside from this experience, they're always out of things, they always mix up sauces, but the fries are more often than not on point!
