Catfish Shack — Restaurant in DeWitt

This was our first time there and it was on a Sunday after church. We walked in didn't know whether to seat ourselves or wait to be seated. finally an employee told us to serve ourselves and sit wherever we wanted so we did .there was a sign on the Coke machine saying do not Serve Yourself, we waited for an employee to come and ask us for our drink order never did so we served ourselves with our drinks. The employee was checking on the other tables and refilling their drinks never came to our table to see if we needed refills or anyting so we got up and got our own refills. This is the only reason I only gave it three stars. the Sunday buffet was excellent, the food was great and for the price you can't beat it. so the food I give 5 stars...

We live close to Bryant and drove down Saturday evening. The food wasn’t bad when there was food. There was maybe eight people there when we arrived. There was only a few pieces of fish. Two frog legs. Hardly any shrimp and it stayed that way till we left. Seems like they would only cook small batches of food at a time. One other thing that I found not so good. Was you had to use styrofoam plates, cups and plastic forks. Not worth...
