The Porch at Lazy Magnolia Brewery — Restaurant in Diamondhead

Did I go to the same place as all of these reviews? Starters, it is by the middle school and looks rather industrial. Walked into the place and while there was a pool table there was only three tables and that is it. Walking into the taproom itself was.ok. Beer selection was totaled 11 beers, but the one I was most interested in was out on tap. Got the Imperial brown ale, it was not bad, also tried tthe imperial stout, ok. Those were the two I ordered yet the beertender poured me some wheat beer. Not what I ordered but replaced it. Awefully hot out for dark beers. So they have a bunch of windows looking out onto their production facility. Where they were doing a run of seltzer it looked like. Problem is what was really noticed was the dude wiping his face over and over and over and over with the bottom of his shirt. Look, I get that it is hot but I do not need to see your belly or the crack of your butt every 3 minutes.(grossness) They make these things called bandanas get one. Then some other dude proceeds to put a monster wad of chew in. Where is he spitting that at? Hope not where they are brewing. No TV on, no music, where else is there to look? Had to walk out into production area to find the bathroom. Right next to sign that stated to watch for forklifts. I am surprised that is OSHA or safety approved. If there is food nobody mentioned it. Then again pouring me the wrong beer maybe it was for the best. Only reason it gets a 2 and not a 1 was the beer. The "taproom" is obviously an afterthought. Made more for events than a tourist who is hitting breweries in the area on a Thursday. Will most likely...

We had tried the Pecan beer and really enjoyed it, so on a vacation we made a point to stop in, somewhat out of our way, during open hours posted on the website, and were completely ignored. It is a small brewery, I get that, and it appeared that they had some type of event thay they were setting up for perhaps, but we saw over 10 people working, some cleaning around us, some gathered behind the bar. Had it been closed it would have been nice to have been told that, we were looking at some items for purchase, hats , t-shirts etc, and no-one said hello, were not open, can I help you, nothing. Very dispointed, if you are local it seems from others that it may be a nice place to visit, but dont waste your time or gas to come here if its out if your way. Definately the worst experience I have ever had at a brewery, or any business actually. they really didn't want our business, was very apparent. Guess we'll have to find a new southern...

Stopped in today and we had an amazing time !! It has been several months since we have been here and with Covid messing things up , I can say without a doubt … they are back !! The beer is fantastic!! We tried five different beers and can honestly say we enjoyed all of them. The pizza is by far the best pizza we have ever had and we will not bother to go anywhere else for pizza !! It’s a must try!! You will NOT be disappointed !! We even considered ordering another pizza to go !! It’s that good !! The staff is fantastic ! We loved the music !! What more could you ask for ??
