What's the Scoop? — Restaurant in Dillsboro

Stumbled upon 'What's The Scoop' after stopping to stretch our legs as we were headed home from a day trip to Robbinsville to ride the Tail of the Dragon. My husband and I both noticed the "ice cream" sign and Hersey's ice cream just happens to be one of our favorites! From the moment we walked in Dale, the owner was very helpful and friendly. We both sampled the Carmel Cheesecake swirl (or something like that-I can't remember for sure). It was very good. My husband got one scoop in a waffle cone. I was torn between that and my favorite key lime pie... Dale offered to give me 1/2 a scoop of both, WOW! I wish I would have taken him up on the offer, but instead I went with one flavor, key lime pie. My husband and I sat and talked with Dale while we ate, he was very nice and we enjoyed the conversation. We will definitely hop on the Goldwing again go for ice cream at...

They are located by the Amoco on 74. The owners were very nice. The business is very clean. The table set up is very cute. We did not sit because we were enjoying talking to the owners. We will go back and would recommend this to anyone looking for a place to get ice cream. They serve quality ice cream. My family and I decided to try What The Scoop and so glad we did! Found a spot that is open late and during all seasons too! They have a wide selection of ice cream flavors, colored cones, milkshakes, sundaes, and even sugarfree flavors! They also have monthly themes!
