Plaza Morena Campestre Grill — Restaurant in Dodge Center

Service seemed quite rushed even though there were hardly any customers in the restaurant. There were maybe 3 - 4 tables of people in the whole restaurant for more than one server to take care of them. It was Father's day and my mom and I were surprised that it wasn't busy at all. They didn't have any fans in the restaurant that we could see to keep the customers from sweating while trying to enjoy their dining experience. We got our drinks, ordered our food, and just chatted with each other. Our food came and we were eating it, which was really good. The server came by to check on us, and I asked him if they serve complimentary chips and salsa like they do at the Owatonna restaurant with the same name. He said that they do, and that he was sorry that he forgot and then asked us if we wanted some, which he later brought to us. Then the next time he came to check on us, he dropped off the bill and asked how we were doing and if we were ready for the bill. We were about halfway done eating at that time. My mom told him that we were still eating and we weren't sure if we wanted to order dessert yet. So then he took the bill back with him. He checked on us several more times while we finished up. We asked for to go containers for our leftovers and told him that we were going to skip on dessert. We already were feeling like he was rushing us out the door. Ordered two Jose burgers and onion rings.. Husband sent my daughter to pick it up. They gave us burgers that were bacon burgers, not the correct burgers. Had my daughter take the food back. They sent her back with the same food just with a piece of cheese in it.

So now, we just paid $40 for cold food.

This isn't the first time that they've messed up our order. When I send food back to the kitchen I don't want the same food back I want the correct freshly made food because that is what I paid for.

I highly recommend you go elsewhere.

Extremely disappointed. Not cheap. And the rave reviews on here for their onion rings... FYI they changed their onion rings. They are no longer the crisp delicious onion rings they used to have... These taste like they were frozen.

As someone that lives extremely close we order from them often. Now we'll have to find somewhere new to order from.

And even though losing just One customer may not be a big deal to them... I hope they're willing to stake the reputation on it because I work in a company with over 500 employees... And I have always recommended plaza Morena to them. Now I will tell them all to...

My family and I really enjoy coming here to eat! Tonight was the absolute worst service we have ever had! After we received our food, our waitress said she was going to grab us an extra plate, napkins and silverware. We waited for about 5 minutes and see our waitress taking orders from other tables, my dad got up and had to go ask the other workers for the extra plate, napkins and silverware. They brought it out for us. By this time our food is not hot like it should be. The entire time we were eating our waitress did not once come and ask us if we needed anything, if we wanted refills or even how the food was!!!! When we were finished with our food we sat there waiting for her to come by. (Which she did not). I talked to one of the other employees (blonde girl with blue in her hair) about our service and she was very nice! The bus boy walked by and took our plates for us right away (which was great). The only time our waitress came over to the table was to drop off the bill...... DID NOT say a word not even to ask how...
