We pulled in intending to shoot to the drive-thru but the wife, being the penny pincher she is, had me park because the coupons/discounts were exclusive to the app. So once we completed our online order it gave us a time our food would be ready that was 13 mins. The app said it would use our location to adjust the time for our convenience, but it doesn't give you an update so you're not made aware of any changes or if there even were any changes. So we pulled up to the order box and explained our dilemma to which the young lady replied, "you guys can just come on to the window. We'll take care of you". Yea, I know that's their job, well it's also excellent customer service and both of these are in very short supply. We pulled up, we were greeted, ask to confirm our order by name, then promptly given our order in its entirety the first time and it was fresh. Started out amazing. Fast service, wonderful staff, plenty of toppings on the blizzards. They quickly won me over from Hardee's. But now their service is seriously lacking. The last two times I've ordered the same thing and they've gotten it completely wrong, and it's not a special order in any way. Simply the "Chicken and Biscuit Basket" as listed right on the menu. Both times they have given me toast instead, despite the receipt listing the biscuits. On top of this, the last several times I have ordered blizzards, I've been lucky to get one or two Oreos barely broken up on top, with next to none mixed in. Same goes for the other blizzards I have gotten. Minimal toppings and barely mixed. I ordered a sundae expecting the usual dessert ice cream with toppings like syrup or whipped cream. Instead, I was given plain ice cream in a cup and told that adding syrup would cost extra. By definition, a sundae includes toppings, and with their photo of a sundae showing that it clearly comes with syrup I felt misled. The two lady’s at the window argued that I should have specified I wanted syrup instead of admitting they were wrong.
