Melolaika Burger — Restaurant in Dorado

This is a great, casual local restaurant. Visited on a Friday night for dinner and it was quite busy. There is plenty of parking but it's mostly along the street. Live music was available in an open air dining area or indoor seating is available.

Reasonably priced beer and food selections. I chose the Marlin Mofongo and was very happy with it. My friend chose the Angus beef hamburger and also enjoyed it.

Tile floor makes for a rather noisy dining experience but this a fun place to eat and enjoy delicious food and leave in a good mood.

Not all servers speak English but even so we were still able to order what we wanted. Puerto Ricans are very friendly and patient to work with you when you are ordering but this is a "two-way street".

The restaurant is actually nicely situated. Seems like all the blue collar workers eat there because of the food. While being there at around 10:20 am or so after my order got super packed. It's pretty spacious and has room for a lot of people. Now, as for my food. I placed an order "to go" and was there waiting for like 40 minutes. After I received my "to go" bag with food, it was a mess inside! Juices everywhere when I got home and on my passenger's seat. It was a sloppy bagging. Now I have to find something to get the stains out of my new car passenger seat. Not really worth it. The food was "ok". For what I ordered was $20.61 and I could get better wrapping at either Chili's to go or some other restaurant...

We had a group of 20 people we got there because family members recommended the place. First, we were never notified how long the food was going to be delivered. Second, when we asked about it the manager Ismael was very rude to us by far worst manager ever. Told one of us Thanks for nothing. He was extremely rude to our waitress who was the rockstar in our time there and made her cry in front of us. Food was not the best sweet potato fries burnt.
