This was probably the best restaurant we have tried in PR so far! We are from Pennsylvania and when we travel, we try hard to stick with local establishments to get a real taste of the new environment we are in. We most definitely stick out as tourists but are trying not to look like idiots as we try new foods, flavors, and drinks. Myzo, the golf cart guy, kicked off our night with an amazingly friendly, helpful attitude and a vibe that immediately put us in a great mood! Upon entering the building, the bartender yelled out greetings and we felt instantly welcomed! The owners son (didn't get his name, but he does educational student travel experiences when not at the restaurant) guided us to a table and helped us with the menu items. He was so upbeat and a joy to talk to. Our server (also didn't get her name, dang!) Was patient with our many questions and her food and drink suggestions were spot on! We tried several different dishes and every one of them was prepared fast, hot, and absolutely delicious! Our drinks were never empty and our table was never left long with the dishes. I can say with 100% conviction that whomever left a bad review was probably the problem, not the restaurant. If the service we received was on a random Sunday, at the dinner rush hour, I could not believe other times would be bad. I'd give 100 stars if I could...
Read moreMust stop here! Not only is the food incredible, but the service is equally as great! 2 of my friends brought me here while we were visiting Puerto Rico because they have a friend who works as a bartender here. When we walked in, we were instantly in love with the vibe. The decor was eccentric. The music was on point. This place really was an experience. The drink I had (purple haze) was definitely DIFFERENT. I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it. It was definitely not like anything I have ever had before, that's for sure. It was hand crafted and very unique. The waitress that we had was friendly and has a lot of great suggestions/ recommendations. The parking was a little rough. We had to keep being asked to move our car so other people could get out, but besides that, it was a good experience. We had the pan pan pork chop, the pork belly on top of gondules. (my absolute favorite) I never thought I would be eating a fork full of pigeon peas and loving them so much! And we also ate the sausage appetizer with bread. I would definitely come...
