BARNYARD BBQ — Restaurant in Douglas

I ordered a pulled pork sandwich plate over the phone as I do every time I order from any barbecue restaurant. I decided to go with Brunswick stew as one of my sides and pink lemonade to drink. I was not given the pulled pork sandwich plate, I was given a plate with no bun. When I asked the people at the window why I didn’t get a bun, I was told I did not order a pulled pork sandwich plate, that I ordered a regular plate without the bun. I know exactly what I ordered as I was looking at the menu when I placed the order, but I was repeatedly told I did not order that. Very, very poor customer service. The barbecue, although breadless, was pretty good. The Brunswick stew had a good flavor, but it was water thin. I was given no hot sauce and stale crackers to enjoy my Brunswick stew with.. Overall, it was a poor experience, but the pink lemonade I got (with no straw by the way), was delicious. I would deal with an ornery lady at a window again for this pink lemonade. A reason I’m sure the lady did not hear me, is because I asked twice in front of her for light ice, only for her to to repeat everything I just said, except for the light ice part. When she called out for someone to fix a lemonade, I repeated the words light ice until she looked at me, only to have her ignore me again. on second thought, I will not be going back. My review is solely on customer service. I was charged twice for the same order. I politely waited until the following Thursday to resolve what I assumed was a very minor issue that would be quickly resolved. When arrived I explained what had happened and even showed the workers my bank account where the transaction had been processed twice. They told me they would have to go back into the system to find the transaction and would get back with me before the day was over. Even though it was a bit on an inconvenience I figured they would confirm what my bank account had already shown and it wouldn’t be an issue.Well I received a call and they are telling me I need to go to my bank and get documentation from them. FOR A $30 TRANSACTION THAT YOU CAN SEE CAME OUT OF MY ACCOUNT TWICE. It’s not about the money at all but I do not understand how you can not make right what you obviously...

I was at this business on January 4,2024, and I ordered two of their $14 rib dinners and got home to eat. The ribs was under cooked, really tough! What they call potato salad was mashed potato w salad cubes!! I was so disappointed spending $29 for the rough rubs and the so-called potato salad!! Add insult to injury. The Windows service was not friendly at all!! I asked her for their special, her response,"WE DON'T HAVE THAT! " HER TONE AND DEMEANOR WAS MY FIRST SIGN TO LEAVE!! When I visit Douglas GA, I would patronize them often, but probably won't be going back. Bad service and bad food! No 👎 Have a nerve to post,"No refund!" For their bad food and bad service!! 👎 I had to try to re -cook the ribs . If l wasn't in Valdosta , I would have taken it back! I was just disgusted 😒 They posted one thing, correct?
