Yet another place we'll be returning to in order to try a different menu item. We walked in and were seated on the outdoor patio promptly. It was a bit confusing as to whom worked there and who wasn't as we were greeted by a hostess at the kiosk but then a gal nearby in street clothes and sunglasses seated us. Menus were delivered by one young lady and water was brought by another. Great teamwork! We did wait a little while before being greeted apologetically by our waitress, yet another, whom did not give her name but was very sweet and pleasant. We could tell it had been a very busy day for her and we were arriving at the last hour before closing time.

We ordered everything we wanted at once since we had time to look everything over well, but being we arrived late in the day they were out of a couple things. The waitress was so sweet she offered to buy us our appetizer since she felt she took too long to come to the table and that they were out of the taco style I wanted. Not necessary but a nice gesture. The boneless crispy burbon chicken "wings" were saucy and scrumptious. The DISH famous bloody mary was a perfect blend of flavors although he only received 2 prawns when the menu states 3. At the $16 price for that, I wish I had been aware of that at the time. I found out you can order one without prawns as I'm not a seafood fan, but it will aslo not have the premium vodka either.

We both ordered the tacos as it is their Tuesday special that includes a house margarita, also perfectly balanced and tasty. They were out of the pork tacos so I had the chicken flautas. It is nice that they offer 4 choices for your taco selection. I wasn't real impressed with the flautas as I have never had them before and didn't know what to expect. I'm not a fan of mushy textures and didn't know it was ground chicken. But they were perfectly fried and flaky. My fiancee had the Mahi Mahi tacos and said they were very good and seasoned with a sort of cajun seasoning.

Our waitress asked if we wanted to hear about the desserts and I reluctantly told her I would like to as I saw the adjacent table's delivery just moments before. Some time passed and she brought us the bill assuming we were going to pass on desert but she must have read the dissappointed look on my face and quickly retrieved the slip and took our desert order of the tantalizing huckleberry lemon cheesecake...which they were out of. LOL So we got the raspberry crumble with a dip of icecream on the side instead. It arrived warmed and a decent serving to split for two! Satisfied.

As a side note: We were presented with a $20 bill via the waitress explaining that the gentleman a table over (whom left and was a regular) wanted to gift us because he saw how long it had taken for us to be greeted by our waitress. We were in no hurry nor bothered by the fact but very surprised by this random act of kindness. I've never had that experience before. So thank you very much to whomever felt generous to reach out.

All in all, it wasn't the perfect date night by any means but the nice weather, beautiful views, great company, a sweet waitress, a random act of kindness, and a nice fuzzy liquor buzz, is more than enough to prompt us to return to try again. I've got my eye on the buffalo...

I would give 0 stars if I could.

We ate here on 7/6/18. Originally tried to go to Trinity or 41 South but both were booked for such a large party (9) on a Friday night and short notice. Ok, no big deal it happens. And our bad for deciding so late (same day) that we were going to go to dinner. So I showed up at a little after 5 for our reservation that was at 5:30. I was seated at our table shortly after arriving. From that point on I was ignored. Wasn't even offered a glass of water while I waited for the rest of the party to show up. They had 3 other tables at this point in my wait. It's not like they were slammed, and I got overlooked. So moving on... The rest of the party shows up, and we all order drinks. I tried to order a 7&7, but they were out of Seagram's at 5:30 on a Friday evening. Said they ran out the night before and never thought to get more for the weekend...ummm ok.. so we try to order appetizers and they were out of 2 that we wanted... Ok. Order some appetizers, they were alright. Nothing spectacular though. We all order dinner, and it's ok. My mom ordered her food, it came out with a hair in her food. She sent it back and asked that no mayo be put on her fried avocado since they should be remaking the ENTIRE plate, food came back with mayo. So she just didn't eat it. My mother in law ordered the special which was scallops with veggies and sauce... She got her plate 10 min after the rest of us. My grandmother ordered the salmon with a side salad. She's that her salad come before her plate. Her salad didn't come until they brought my mother in law's plate out. Like you guys are joking, right!? Waiter was good, but the bar and kitchen were terrible!!! I've worked high paced busy kitchens. This was just unacceptable... I doubt I'll go back, even with the 2 gift certificates they gave us for the...

We had a reservation for 7. We arrived about 10 minutes early. It took quite a while for our waitress to take our order. We ordered a couple of drinks and then our entrees. We waited for about forty five minutes before we started wondering what was going on. We asked our waitress if our food would be out soon. She said it was a busy night and didn't really give us a time line. After that, she never came by our table. After about 20 more minutes, we stopped a different server and said we were thinking about paying for our drinks and leaving. Everyone was really hungry and it was 8 at this point so we'd already been there for over an hour. The waitress we talked to said she would ask our server. Our server came over with ketchup and said our food was the next out of the kitchen. We watched 3 other tables get served ( so our food was definitely not the next out of the kitchen). My husband used the bathroom and then we decided to leave. By time we left it was eight ten so we had been there roughly an 1 hour and 20 minutes and never got our food. They did comp our drinks Which was nice but there were no other restaurants open at that point so it left us in a pretty tough spot. I don't think we would...

I thought I had given a review but apparently not. My husband and I came for our anniversary early April. We arrived just before the dinner hour, lucky for us, as there was no one else there except the staff. We were greeted as if we were expected VIPs lol and seated promptly right at the window to the bay, gorgeous! Our waiter was very friendly and informative with the recommendations. Our food arrived, plated simply but beautiful. I had the Salmon, my husband the fish and chips. Food was very good, very flavorful and cooked well. Our drinks were good, I tried a smoked old fashioned which was entertaining and good! The restaurant had filled up by dessert but the staff worked their tables as if each table was the only one in the room giving complete attention to their guest. I liked that. Dessert was delicious, I have dairy issues so I ordered the carrot cake without icing just to taste a tid bit lol my husband got it next morning, he really enjoyed it plus the huckleberry cobbler he ordered. Overall, I recommend The Dish it was well worth it.

What a gem! My server Cliff was polite, helpful and attentive, ensuring my experience was a great one. As for the food, the Portobello Fries were out of this world! The balsamic and garlic glazes worked so well with these fries. I also had the Buttermilk Chicken which was delicious and cooked to perfection. Did I mention the waterfront location - which made for a great vibe. I’ll be back!!!

Delicious! Tempua Ahi was amazing! My picture does not do it justice as it did looked really good when it came out. I was just so hungry (not because I had to wait long, in fact for as busy as they were the food came out rather quickly) and it looked so go I dug right in. View is outstanding, service was great. I highly recommend!
