Gameday Grill — Restaurant in Downs

I really liked Gameday and have been there alot in the past. Today I called to place an order and was on hold for 15 minutes. I drove in on hold because I still wanted to pick up the food. When I got there I let her know she could hang up the phone because I was the one on hold but still wanted to order. She got a huge attitude and said "Yeah, look how busy it is". No apology, just attitude from the beginning. Due to her attitude I said I would get lunch somewhere else but thanks anyway. As I turned around she said "Yeah whatever keep talking". I was never disrespectful, or rude although she felt the need to be. About 15 minutes later I called back and asked for the manager. The same woman answered and said she was the manager, which floored me. So I explained she was wrong to treat me in such a way. I thought it was pretty good but fairly overhyped. I had to wait almost an hour just for my food, and it was mediocre at best! And later that night I had food poisoning. So the food was mediocre. And when I tried out some of the arcade machines they had there. They didn't even work! Now I will give credit where it's due, my server was very nice and always came at the perfect time for refills. Overall I'd say it's a decent one time experience but I dont think I'll be coming back. I guess that's what you get for such cheap...

Such a gem of a place! Nice decor and plenty of seating with a patio area. Several tvs to watch whatever trips your fancy. There was a room with video games and they had some dart boards. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Big shout out to Madison and Heather! They were friendly, fun, and great to chat and joke with! The food was delicious as well!
