First visit: Service and atmosphere significantly down rated to a 3 only because server wouldn’t give us small tastes of beers we had never heard of before - said owner was against it. While that typically would be enough for us to never go back, we might because we REALLY liked the food (unique version of Sheppard’s Pie in photo), and being able to comfortably sit and eat outside.

However, now we have made a second visit, we are amending the review to a 1. We went back to enjoy a beer and lunch outside - but ended up leaving without even eating. Smokers would be on the deck - and when politely asked to move as smoke was blowing directly into us, would take one step to outside of deck - and of course the smoke continued to flow directly into us. Stopped by after getting our nails done at our favorite place. Bartender was nice and food wasn’t bad. The restaurant at first smelt clean but it was trying to cover over the horrible smell of cigarettes. Beers on draft were just typical beers. The worst part was the cook that was screaming about, “Who orders steak and cheese with no cheese?” and how he couldn’t trust people who don’t have cheese on their sandwiches. I left out the swears. I ordered a CBC chicken sandwich … which came to me as a wrap. Wasn’t bad but wasn’t what I ordered. My friend ordered chicken with the sauce on the side and it was on the chicken.
