Very nice place but dont take your little ones. As a family with a toddler, breweries tend to be your safe haven. When we got there, we purposefully set our family up in a corner. I set my son's toys on the floor THREE feet from our table. And when I say toys, I mean magna-tiles and some hotwheels cars. In the first 5 minutes of us being there, an employee Dani came up to me and said my child "could not be separated from me" and that he needed to be seated at the table at all times. My son is 2 - you've got to be kidding me. It's not necessarily what she said, because I understand and respect policies, but it's the way she said it. She was very very rude, and spoke to me as if we had caused a scene in the establishment. My husband and sons were in matching shirts for Fathers Day-Thank you for ruining our experience. Nice place, but not meant for children. And if you do bring your kids, dont let them up from their seats. Really, just in shock with how she treated a 1st time customer.
And Dani - If you're response would be "our policies are posted"...they are posted in the back by the bathrooms. A sign I didn't see because I was seated at our table trying to enjoy your establishment. Even after I contained my 2 year old to my lap, we noticed you look our way in several occasions still...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of attending a retirement ceremony at Full Distance and I was blown away by the exceptional service and hospitality. The team went above and beyond to make our celebration special, closing off a section of the brewery to accommodate our group. The private space allowed us to share stories, memories, and well-wishes with our retiring friend in a warm and intimate setting.
The staff were friendly, attentive, and ensured our glasses were always full. The beer selection was impressive, and the food (food truck) was delicious. But what truly made the experience stand out was the brewery's willingness to adapt to our needs and make us feel welcome.
If you're looking for a venue to host a special occasion, I highly recommend Full Distance. Their flexibility, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction make them an excellent choice. Thank you to the entire team for helping us give our friend a...
Read moreA Tale of Two Breweries
Once upon a time there was a great brewery in Fredericksburg VA. They had a strange way of doing things but they quickly became a favorite of the locals. They say absolute power corrupts absolutely. This kingdom of beer that once was honorable in the game of drink, began to fall due to the reckless monarchy. Seeing the imminent collapse on the horizon, two of the breweries finest champions of brewpouring; Lady Hayden and Sir Ethan realized their expertise and precision in the game of drink would benefit the local rising kingdom. Both decided one night they would slip silently away. Going the full distance, they arrived at their new home. They quickly climbed the ranks and along the way making their new home the most formidable of heros in all the land.
TLDR: Hayden and Ethan rock! Full Distance has grown substantially from their beginning and I'm happy to see them experimenting...
