My first time eating from this place and I have to confess the food is amazing and delicious I ordered the Bulgoki bento box. It was fresh, and well-marinated both the beef, the vegetables, and the sushi rolls tasted amazing they were fresh and the quality was great both the rice and the vegetables of the rolls. The side of rice was well cooked and had a good consistency it wasn’t too dry or too moistened. And the two extra sides the dumpling and what I can presume type of Ebi Fry or Shrimp Tempura was both warm and delicious it wasn’t oily or had any strong seasoning. The spicy mayo is worth the $1.00 it was spicy, fresh, and had a good consistency. My only complaint was the service over the phone. The lady wasn’t very helpful and seemed a bit short-tempered, but my indecisiveness on what to buy didn’t help. Therefore my apologies to the lady on the phone for dealing with me, but the food was amazing and with great portions, I will consume it again next time.

Positives I always try to come back here whenever I'm in the area. Great quality and best valued sushi and sashimi of all the nearby towns. The Well-Being Special rolls can be huge. Also, with every order you get a free deep fried California roll (it's actually pretty good). So that's a nice touch The sashimi pieces are thick, quality slices. Negatives: Sometimes the lady at the register tries to jip you for the number of free miso soups that come with your large party platters. She thinks she knows how many people you are feeding better than you do, apparently. Even if you order a large platter that's clearly for many people. If you tell her five people, she'll say "No, four." If you tell her four people, "No, three." And if you go over six, it's always going to be six or less. I've never been to a Japanese restaurant that's so cheap with their miso soup especially when you order platters and more platters each time.

I ordered super spider roll, Ebi Dragon roll, dancing shrimp roll, and others. The spider roll had fried crap (soft shell crab) and that fried crab meat was little and mostly just flour and the once with shrimp tempura barely had any shrimp in the fried shrimp. It was mostly flour and big hard fried flour as well. LITTLE SHRIMP IN THERE. Also, If you don’t want your sushi to fall apart when trying to eat it, don’t order from the WELL BEING SPECIAL ROLL section. I didn’t know that section of the menu was BIG sushi that’s not even appealing to eat in my opinion. Too much rice wrap around this sushi. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN. Won’t recommend either.

Have been going to this place for over 7 years at least 3 times a month, and every single time I feel like I am doing the owners of this place a favor. Horrible management. The place is owned by one of the chefs and his sassy, attitude filled wife who is a waitress and is a manager as well. Literally every single time I have been there (easily over 100 times by now) she acts unprofessional, acts as if she has a chip on her shoulder, and chews gum every single time while taking our orders. Unprofessional. They hand out a little bowl of soup and a few pieces of lettuce A.K.A a salad as a complimentary favor on the house, and they use it as a power play. If you don’t order enough or if you don’t order to their liking, they only allow you 1 soup or 1 salad. This happens often, even when we have a table of 5-6 tables. Horrible management, horrible service as well. They seem to hire highschool aged relatives of theirs to serve as waiters and probably offer the next relative once the currently employed ones graduate highschool and leave for college. This is probably why every few months we see another 16 year old looking waiter who has absolutely no idea what they’re doing. I can’t even count the amount of times I’ve had food spilled on me by an amateur, inexperienced staff member who has no idea what they’re doing. Overall, horrible place run by horrible, stubborn, and sassy people who have absolutely zero manners or care for their loyal customers. I guarantee if you go there you will understand exactly what I am talking about. Just do yourself a favor, safe yourself from frustration, and just go to a different sushi restaurant that cares about...

best local sushi place you could ask for and I love their salad with peanut sauce, however, in my recent experiences ordering sushi for pick up, I've been noticing bugs in my salad! the first time I found one there was a little green worm and to my understanding this type of worm wouldn't be harmful if ingested, but knowing there was an alive worm still left on a piece of salad is unsettling. because of my first experience with their salad I have always been extremely cautious, picking up a single piece of salad at a time and inspecting it because I was always scared to find a bug. today I ordered sushi for pick up again and there was a dead fly smudged in my salad! i hate bugs...so much.... don't get me wrong, this is a really good sushi place. they seriously just need to be more thorough when cleaning their salad though because can you imagine the amount of people who have probably eaten a bug from their salad without knowing? it's a shame because the salad with peanut sauce is my favorite. only problem are the bugs...

10/10 recommend the...
