Pappy's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Dunbar Township

#1-If you have no cash do not order for delivery bc they only accept cash Tips and will NOT let you add it to your order. I was back and forth on a 3 and 4 star. I ultimately gave a 4 because they are a local company who makes fantastic food and who could ask for more? The reason I thought about this was because we ordered 2 hoagies. 1 cheesy breadstick and 1 cheese pizza. Both full Italian hoagies were made correctly but I asked for mayo and Italian on the side. We didn't get any Italian at all but 4 packs of mayo. Our cheesy bread..well we asked if it came with sauce. She said YES. Because we are DIPPERS here. I even thought about asking for extra but being new to this company we wanted to see how they presented their product. SO I didn't order extra sauce. BAD MOVE. Then again if we ordered extra would we get it. Who knows. Unfortunately we were given NO sauce at all. Ughhhh I wanted to cry 😢 but I had a can of Don Pepino in the cupboard so we whipped it out..and ahhhh not the same at all. The pizza looked well done and that's how I like it but pur family can go back and forth on that. Im super happy with it. Me, 1 of my boys and our dog approved. I cannot say a thing bad about the pizza. you can see in the photos that we tried it. Oh and one more thing which I think is VERY IMPORTANT.... YOU can pay via credit/bank card but you CANNOT add a tip to that card. That BLEW MY MIND! We collectively had $8 cash in this house. Now we know but PLEASE PAPPYS MAKE THE customers ordering aware of this. I felt so bad giving an $8 cash tip. We are usually big tippers. So in the end... Pizza was well done. Hoagies were made correctly but not the right sauces were given for either. Cheesy breadsticks were not bad but we got NO sauce at all. Make sure to have cash if you order for delivery because we felt horrible only tipping a small $8 we could gather. They will not allow you to put a tip on the card. In the end...would I order again? ABSOLUTELY AND WE WILL!!! I just know to have the person taking the order to re-read my order AND I will be sure to have cash on hand for these amazing delivery drivers. Oh and the driver that came to our house tonight was SUPER NICE!! I hope I see him again so I can make up for this evenings tip! Thank for you great food Pappys!! OH OH ONE MORE THING!! It's a Friday so we know they are super busy. They gave us a time of 45mins to 1 hour. We said no problem take your time. They cane BEFORE 45 mins! That is pretty impressive knowing we are on the outskirts and it's a Friday night! Side note I was ignored many times on the phone. Heard employees in the back cussing and saying what the F. I even had to give my bankninfo twice bc the first time she just said Oh sorry say it again. Thay I can dismiss bc I know good workers are hard to find. However everyone heard the screaming and cussing in the background. *I added photos of the food. The whole Italian hoagie as pictured is with no veggies but we paid extra for Pepperoni. That should give you and idea of the meat and cheese content. We asked for mayo and Italian on the side for both hoagies and only...

If I could give zero stars I would. I order frequently and tip very well but they refused to even try to accommodate my Celiac Disease and make me A bbq chicken pizza as "they use too much chicken on the pizza" I have ordered a three meat gluten free no problem in the past multiple times, and I asked if they could just please put the chicken on the side or use less chicken and they refused" I offered to pay extra for them to put LESS chicken on the pizza! I don't see the big deal about putting a little less chicken on a pizza so I'm able to try it, and it's not like I have the option to eat the non gluten free. Thanks for nor even trying to work...

Pizza was cold when it was delivered, the wings are super duper small. hot Pepper cheese balls were banging and so was my hoagie! Called about the pizza and they said I could bring back the pizza and get my money back but it was 15 minutes before close and I didn’t have time so the lady told me I could pick up a fresh one the next day which made me satisfied.
