The Ranch House — Restaurant in Duncan

My experience, I noticed on the reviews people giving them rating of 4-5 so I decided to write, So I too, when I entered the establishment, I thought what a nice looking place because, I went to this place about in mid 90"s around 1995 and I experienced a warm welcome and I liked the visit and I think the place was starting looking like run down and I noticed that the place was up graded and as I said in the beginning I was impressed with the up grade, then, when we were having a friendly talk and after I ordered I paid for my order because I was a paying customer, the waitress said your order will be done in 10 to 15 minutes and I said okay because I was hungry. But not until after 25 minutes I asked for my order and she got a little short with me and eventually after a total 30 minutes I got my order and I said thank you! Then, as I was leaving, I said in a low voice, but she heard me when I said, let's see if I ever come back, and then she said we don't want you back with an attitude, then I thought why would I want to go back with that type of service I won't go back that's for sure, that's when I decided to put my review. I thank the ranch house restaurant for the bad service I received from you. I think I have the right to not recommend this place to anyone and I think I have a right to state my experience with the ranch house...

The food was really good, but the service was very disappointing. We went in a large group, called in advance as a courtesy to reserve a table and was given attitude regarding the size of our table (16 people) when we got to restaurant we set our tables up ourselves and had to listen to both ladies working make comments on multiple occasions about having to serve our table. It took 20 minutes for our drinks to come out and almost an hour for our food to come out. I could understand the wait had there been other tables to have to fulfill orders for but they were already taken care of before we walked in the door. Needless to say this will be the last time our family will ever go in there for Sunday brunch even though their food was good. Maybe the owners should have a chat with their employees about the fact that ALL customers that walk in the door are the reason why they have a job especially when we make sure to tip them exceptionally well despite their rude comments and...

After being a loyal long time customer I can honestly say I will not be back. For the past month the service has been horrible to the point of getting a refill you gotta ask 3 times. Today we went into the ranch house and had to ask for drinks that were never brought out. Then half of the orders were wrong. We sent the food back and when it came out the second time it was ice cold. At this point most of us were not even going to try again and just decided to take it home and microwave it. When brought to the attention to waitress as I was paying I was told and I quote "Wow that sucks". I'm astonished that for small town service this is acceptable. If we decide to go out to eat I'd gladly drive 45 Minutes and eat somewhere else than ever...
