Not very Mexican spent 50$ for purity much ground beef in tortillas. I was very disappointed looking at the reviews I expected so much more. We should have known when we went and no one else was their. I got a combination meal #5 to try more stuff since this is only my second time going to a Mexican restaurant. I got the Burrito and it only had a tortilla with ground beef in it and nothing else just beef no cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sauces, or even toco season on the beef. I also got an Enchilada and it was the same thing a tortilla feeled with ground beef but this time it had cheese on top of it. The chicken quesadilla was good it had chicken and cheese. For two of us the bill came to 50$ we both got combination meals his was the same but instead of chicken quesadilla he got two tacos his tacos had more ground beef with lettuce and cheese on it. We shared the appetizer plater that was the best thing. We also tried the Mexican fried ice cream it wasn't bad I ate it he didn't like it. I'd say it was a total waste of money and it would have been better to just go to taco bell get more for less money and it would be closer to Mexican food. The best thing we had was chicken strips and mozzarella sticks. The server was nice and the...
Read moreCozy new restaurant that is structured the same as the restaurant this building housed previously. While ChuChis seems to be great for a small family or a get together for a few friends, it's not a great place for a LARGE family or big get together. This is due to the seating area being the same as the restaurant that was there previously.
The atmosphere and decor are calming and relaxing. The chairs are comfortable and wide enough for the average person.
The food is delicious and authentic tasting. Served hot and fresh. There is a variety of dishes to choose from. If you have younger kids who aren't into this kind of food, the kids menu includes mac and cheese, burgers, and such.
All in all, this is a great addition to Duncansville and will bring in people from outside...
Read moreHad the pleasure of eating what has to be the BEST tasting Al Pastor tacos in the area, Hands Down! The ri e and beans are what I've come to expect from this area and are lacking a little extra, but I'm from Texas so I have high standards. Unfortunately that was the only thing that I ate but because if that I will definitely be back to try other things! Just wish I had found this place sooner. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is what you would expect from a mexican restaurant, music, decoration all on point. A true hidden gem in the...
