Henderson Chicken — Restaurant in Duncanville

Okay I just left this place. The customer service is beyond horrible. I came through the drive thru. You have to order at the window bc the intercom is broken. I get to the window and the girl just open the window and look at me no greeting or anything. So I told her what I wanted. She told me how much it cost and closed the window. This is what I observed sitting in my vehicle. There were 3 people in the kitchen. None had on uniforms, any gloves or hair nets. The one that took my order had on a hair bonnett with hair still out. One lady was pregnant with a tshirt ,flip flops on her cell phone and the other guy had on jeans hanging below his butt and he apparently was cooking the food. They all were in the kitchen around the food wth. The girl that took my order gave me chicken that look like it had been sitting there for hours. As she was walking to the window, the guy came up with a fresh batch. When she opened the window to get ready to pass me the food, I asked could I have the fresh chicken that he put out. You would have thought I asked her to kill somebody. Then the pregnant one was telling her to give me the old chicken and if I didn't want it then don't eat it and some other nasty things that I can't say on here. I certainly will not be spending my $ here ever again. Just by the unsanitary condition of the workers and to add their rude and nasty customer service. The neighborhood cat just got fresh chicken! The chicken is good. I’m not gonna lie. The food is very good but what really rub me the wrong way is when I came to the Henderson chicken after work and then I had noticed that the cash register lady she’s the older lady and didn’t catch her name. I had noticed that the people that was in front of me, she was preparing for their food and I noticed that she was picking up there bread with her hands no gloves, no tongues but And I feel like that is very disgusting nasty her nails was dirty. She was dealing with money, and I politely asked her can she please put on gloves with dealing with my bread or the tongues. She proceeded to tell me no I will not put on gloves, but I will use the tongues and I feel like that is very nasty dealing with the pandemic you dealing with money than you touching people food that is the most disgusting Thing I ever seen n someone needs to handle this before I call the health department im n medical field n you dealing with people lying...

I recently came in to this location to place an order. As I was waiting to place my order, I noticed that the cashier returned from outside and moved directly to the kitchen area without washing her hands.

She also did not wear gloves to maintain the workspace environment, despite having just interacted with another customer she was serving outside the restaurant. When it was apparent that she had forgotten to take these precautions, I reminded her that washing hands is so important, especially with COVID-19 concerns being emergent in the state.

Unfortunately her response showed deliberate and careless conduct. She did not properly wash her hands or dry them, and did not properly fulfill my order afterwards.

I urge that management would undergo the proper training for their staff because otherwise they are endangering the safety of themselves and other employees. Safety and Customer service should always be a top priority for...
