This bakery brings home to you. The bread, pastries and breakfast sandwiches are just like in Puerto Rico. Prices are reasonable. Because of covid, only 3 people in at a time. Only a few employees. They take a while for hot food but it’s worth it and it’s just like in Puerto Rico, Nothing is fast service it’s a culture thing. It gets very busy and takes a while but like I said, it’s worth it. Go with patience it can take 15-30 minutes for your hot food. I went at 11:30am ordered two breakfast sandwiches, a pound of bread (una libra de pan sobao) and two pastries and it took about 30-45 minutes. There was about 15 people that ordered after us. I was definitely grouchy but when I ate, it was delicious and instantly I became happy.

Delicious Puerto Rican Bakery, very traditional. From authentic cafe con leche y pan con mantequilla to Mofongo con camarones or sancocho. My biggest question is how such a small place has EVERYTHING TO EAT. They have a variety of delicious pastries both Puerto Rican panaderia style and traditional American pastries. Staff is amazing and Bilingual, obviously lol, the prices are to die for. When it comes to lunch, there isn't a better place. If i have to eat out for lunch, this is the first ace i go to.. you get home cooked food or delicious sandwiches, great portion for a great price. You also can call ahead and order. They have outside seating. I love this place, I go almost every weekend.

I ordered a plate of snacks for my daughter's birthday ahead of time. I was told to pick up my order between 9am-11am on Saturday and it would be ready within those times. I showed up at 10:15 am and was told my order wasn't ready. I waited a full hour in the lobby and at 11:15 am I finally got my food. Now being late to my daughters birthday get-together. If the food won't be ready within the time frame given then don't give the time frame. You are running a business. The food was good but I'm taking stars away for not having food ready when they said. If I showed up at 9am like they told us to it would've been worse.

DON’T GO UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE TIME. They take a long a$$ time to make ANYTHING. First time I went there I ordered a mofongo con carne frita. I understand a mofongo takes time BUT NOT AN HOUR AND A HALF. They are not attentive and the owner does not give a $h!t and expects THE CUSTOMER to understand he’s understaff lol. The food was OKAY, nothing out of this world, but by the time I got it I was so disgusted with the service I gave it away…

Second time, I was getting a friend a coffee and this people TOOK OVER 20 MINS TO TAKE MY ORDER AND THEN ANOTHER 15 TO MAKE A SINGLE CUP OF COFFEE. My friend even called me and asked if I was ok 😂 because the place was close to where we were (less than 3mins) and it was a simple order. Furthermore, while I waited to have my order taken there were 2 other clients that returned their food because it was not made how they ordered it and one that walked out because of how long it was taking them to take the orders. Not to mention their price for one small coffee (about 4oz) was a lil over $5 after taxes… I meaaann NOT EVEN STARBUCKS 🤣🤣 at least starbucks doesn’t take as long and they give you 8oz for a small coffee.

NEVER AGAIN. GOING THERE IT’S A LITERAL WASTE OF TIME.

IF I COULD GIVE THEM ZERO...

First time I went was during the week food was on point that day took 45m so hold on for a while for your food plus they dont keep track of who's next to attend. 2nd time I went waiting for another 50m plus easy I gotta go back to work and I'm just waiting for a potato ball. It was still cold from being frozen. I decided that it may have been a bad day for them because my wife was wanting to go there so bad I decided to give it one more try this time I went on a Saturday and it was even worse than the weekday and the females that work there most hate there job because they can careless about customer service and especially who's next. Food was under cooked boiled vegetables still hard, fried bananas still needed more time and the list goes one n on . After my wife wanted this for so long she got one thing and hated it. 3 other people wre complaining about the wait and other getting attended before them. That place acts like if I need them not the other way around. I know of way better places. Customer...
