We came here on a whim looking for somewhere to eat on our way to Creedmoor. We pulled into the shopping center and saw Taqueria Jalisco on the right. It said authentic and it had pictures of the food on the windows so that looked good so we decided to give it a try. We walked in and ordered at the counter. I didn’t know what to get and I was unsure of how authentic they were so I tried the carne asada street tacos with a side of rice and refried beans. I got a pineapple agua fresca ad well. My boyfriend got the quesadilla. My tacos were very good. They were a bit dry so I put some of the green sauce on them. It was very spicy for me. The tacos were delicious, I shouldn’t have put so much sauce on top. The rice and beans were pretty good. The agua fresca was chunky but very refreshing. My boyfriends quesadilla was delicious. Our son liked the cucumbers and the lime. The staff checked on us to see if we enjoyed our meal which was nice. We will...

I love coming to Taqueria Jalisco. I’ve been eating here since they first opened. The food is always on point, but what keeps me coming back just as much is the amazing service.

My go-to order is the carne asada con camarones, paired with the agua de maracuyá (chef’s kiss).I really appreciate how easy it is to call in an order. No prepayment, no deposit, they just trust you. You pay when you arrive, and the food is hot and ready. That kind of customer care is rare these days.

I’ve also had their tacos, and hands down, they’re some of the best in town. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I honestly can’t recommend this...

We heard about this place from a nail salon in Chapel Hill and had to come try it out for ourselves tonight. We both got the carne asada with shrimp and it was top notch. The steak was tender and super flavorful, the shrimp were big, juicy and sweet. It comes with enough food for two at $18 (but we each got our own). The beans are fresh, not from a can and the homemade tortillas…OMG. Top all that with a variety of huge agua frescas and you can’t go wrong. The staff were all super friendly and the atmosphere is colorful and lively. It was a bit of a drive for us but I absolutely guarantee we will be back....

I stopped by this taco spot during a trip back home, and it was such a great find! It’s about two hours from where I live, but we were hungry, and this place caught my eye along the drive. I ordered the asada street tacos, street corn, and piña agua fresca, and everything was absolutely delicious. Having grown up in San Antonio, I know good Mexican food, and this spot definitely hit the mark. I only wish they offered smaller, personal-sized portions of the menudo because I really wanted to try it but didn’t want a big bowl. Overall, I had a great experience, and I hope I get the chance to come back again!

I’m from Durham but recently moved to another city, and whenever I’m craving Spanish food, I always come back to this location. I’ve visited twice, and both times the food was great. I’ve even recommended it to others, and they’ve loved it too. My son also had some, and he absolutely loved it. The restaurant is very busy, so if you’re planning to try it, be prepared for a short wait unless you order online. It’s also very affordable. I’ll definitely be back to try something different next time.
