Happy Garden — Restaurant in Duryea

I honestly can't understand all the great reviews about being the best chinese place in the area. I based my order on them, and our food came terrible. Maybe it's just a dish or 2 that they're great at? Who knows. But General Tso's is a must for us at our house. We always order it, and if it's bad we aren't ever going back. And this place it was the soggiest I've ever had. Gross. Then the sauce was super salty and drowned in it. Double gross. Ordered Vegetable lo mein as well and it was bland. Like noodles and veggies thrown together with nothing else. What I will say that was good here were the egg rolls. They tasted homemade and fresh. But they are thinner than normal I think. This is definitely not the greatest in the area. So far, it's been Oriental Express here in Taylor. Great chicken...

Picked up an order and when i got home 2 items were missing. I called and told them and they said about 10 minutes. I got there and the young boy of about 12 went to charge me for it. I said i just paid for it and didnt get it. The lady funally came from the back and asked what i ordered before i old her and she said i rememberthe order. Ahe then said the amount of the order and i explained i did not get it and already paid for it. She insisted i pay again for it. I told her forget it and we will not be coming back again. I have never had a problem here before but the way the lady talked to me i will never order from here again. And we usually order about 3...

My experience here was absolutely terrible. The staff completely messed up my order and then expected me to drive all the way back just to get the correct food. When I asked if they could deliver the right order instead, they accused me of making the mistake rather than taking responsibility. The way they handled the situation was unprofessional and rude — they were actually yelling instead of trying to fix the problem. On top of that, the restaurant itself was dirty and unkempt, and the food was mediocre at best. Overall, this place lacks basic customer service, cleanliness, and quality. I wouldn’t recommend...
