Tried 3 things on the menu, the chicken sandwhich, the sausage egg and cheese biscuit, and the biscuit and gravy.
The gravy with the biscuit and gravy was absolutely bad. The flavor was off and was not enjoyable at all.
The chicken sandwhich only comes with spice, and it may be too much for people that haven't had any spice recently. It was a wannabe Popeyes sandwhich. It was mediocre at best.
The sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit was reasonably decent. Not spectacular. I didn't regret buying it like the other 2.
I ordered a sweet tea and they were out. I got coleslaw as a side and was under the impression I was supposed to get a botato thing as well. I only received the 'slaw, and while it was great, I did want to try the botato.
Overall the food was subpar, and I suffered with indigestion all night. Stick with popeyes, where when they get the order wrong, the food is still mostly worth eating.
Side notes - only tenders, no bone-in options, small and limited menu. Biscuits were good, but toppings and extras can ruin them. Apparently "not actually southern - but trying to be" food, which explains...
Read moreI’m a trucker so I’m here at least once a month they always forget something in my order and I have to walk back in. Big girl fixing the food always seems to have an attitude don’t smile or nothing and acts like it’s a problem when I come back in but y’all need to fix it right the first time. Not to mention im from NC where real Bojangles is and this one has no supremes and no bone in chicken which I understand is not the staffs fault. The cashiers are usually nice enough but it’s the ppl fixing the food for me bc I’ve asked on a couple occasions to please bake some from biscuits for me which only takes 3 min they have a problem with that too. I’m like wow I’m a truck driver by the time I stop here I’ve driven 9-10 hours back hurt all that and the only thing I want is fresh food and not to have to walk back in bc my order is wrong especially not to someone with a stank attitude. I mean truck drivers do bring the majority of money into the Loves/Wendy/Bojangles. Get y’all’s...
Read moreHaving lived on the West Coast for 10 years prior to moving back home to Louisiana, I was excited to finally try Bojangles. I have to say, I was thoroughly disappointed. My order was ready very quickly after ordering, however, none of the sauces I requested were included, and I was already miles away with no chance of turning around. Troy ate the strips without sauce, and needless to say I wasn’t impressed at all. They were lacking seasoning and overall flavor. Leaving raising canes, which is notably blend, had more flavor then these. The biscuit while sturdy, I’ll select quite a bit, and didn’t have naked flavor. Like say a Popeyes biscuit does. To top things off the french fries have a very weird kind of a grainy texture. I did get an order of blueberry biscuits, an I give those a three out of five. Luckily, the unsweetened iced tea was refreshing. I don’t think I’ll be going back to Bojangles, I just don’t think...
